What my Wife Really thinks of Me - Bam Son T Shirts Available!

What do you What do you got there? Peanut butter hot chocolate that my sweet husband brought back for me. Well, you know. Do what I can. Think we might be a little cut off here. Fix this little touch real quick. Yeah. Peanut buttery. It's thick. Just talking about peanut butter hot chocolate over here. So this is our first Wednesday video. If you remember back a little bit, I said I wanted to start making extra videos, and the wife. Was smart and kind enough to suggest that we do a Wednesday video, just kind of. Talking just around around the house and about our life and what we're doing. Preparing for trips. Yeah, yeah, it makes sense. I got a a whole big gear pile right here in front of us that. You'll be happy that's out of my living room. Yeah, on it is. So. So I leave all the time, right? I'm gone a lot. You say at least once a week, not. If you're gone for more than a week, then you have a little bit more of a break, but. Once a week I'm gone, so that leaves a lot of time that I'm not here. We have the wife and the kid. And the kid's in school now, which makes things a little bit easier. So why don't you tell them? How why don't we why don't we do it like this? How do you feel about me being gone all the time? How do you how do you feel about me, Donald? Well, of course, we're a little bit sad. Provide for our families. That makes me happy. And the way I see it, and try to think about it, is when we're together, we enjoy our time together. That's why I try to tell myself to not be sad when you're gone. Is that when you're here, we actually enjoy each other's company a lot more than people who are together every single minute of every day. Yeah. And when I'm home, I'm home. You're home. Not really gallivanting around. No, not going off to work. You're here with us. Spending time with us. Try to explain that to the kid too, 'cause she gets kind of bummed out when I leave, and it's like, well. especially lately, she's very attached to daddy lately. Yeah, she is, which is awesome. I love it. It's it's a little bit more difficult though, but yeah, that's why I try to tell her tell her like. Other parent, other people, those moms and dads have to go to work. You know, in nine to five, they barely get to see them. They they get home and they're going to bed, kind of thing. And it sucks that I'm gone so often, but when I am home, it's you know I mean it's full time, full time dad, full time husband stuff. Yeah, well, that's good. So you're you're not too. Upset with me for leaving all the time? No. I get comments that say I'm an absentee father, an absentee husband. But when you're here, you do a lot more with us than I would say a lot of people do. Uh, those com what those comments get to me because I already feel that way, but. But we do a lot of stuff together. We're not just sitting at home doing nothing all the time. We go out and we do a lot as a family. Which is really nice. It is nice. It's nice, haters. So you can see, we've got on, or I've got on, a little t-shirt, a Bamsun t-shirt. Let me get a close-up look at this. Bamsun, you got a little Joe Robinette signature down there. Little Scooter Magooter logo here. These are made with 60% uh cotton, 40% polyester. Forty percent polyester. If you didn't hear that. So I've been having questions about shirts for a long time. When when when are you gonna get merch, Joe? Where's all your merch, Joe? Lincoln Bio. So so we got them. There's just one kind right now. This Bam Sun shirt, but it comes in three colors. Let's let's model the lovely. So we got a nice gray, a nice gray. This is a medium. So this is another thing I want to tell you guys. Like I said, 60/40 cotton poly blend. They're true size. They don't shrink. So I'll take this off in a second. I'll compare it to one that. That has been washed. This one has not been washed yet. This is a small. This is a medium. They are true fitting. They're good quality shirts. I hate. There's nothing more than I hate than buying a shirt from someone you like, like a a band, or or I have like a Midwest School of Bushcraft shirt. I really really like the shirt and I really like want to support the the company and stuff. But as soon as you wash it, it shrinks and you just can't wear it. Or it's one of those super wide shirts that just like float around. I hate that. It's it's like I absolutely hate it. So. A prerequisite for picking a company to go with for shirts was. Quality shirt. A very very quality shirt that when you wear it you actually like wearing it. It feels good. It looks good. It fits well, which all three things. These hat. So again, anyways, we got our brown, saw the gray, and this is the blue. The blue is a nice, like not too bluely of a blue, and these are the three colors that you can get in adult sizes. There's three colors in children sizes as well, and I believe they're similar, but they're just the tinges, right? The tones are just a bit different. There's like a a deep blue, a more gray, and like a brown or brown or something along those lines. Anyways, if you go to the website, you can check it out. I'm going to put the website in the description below because it's a super big long URL. I'm not gonna say it out loud because I don't know it. Okay. Yeah, I'll I'll I'm gonna show you guys a uh. Watch this one. Yes, a comparison. So this is a this is a small that's been washed. Compared to the one that I was wearing two minutes ago, that has that had been washed, it's a touch smaller, but barely any at all. It's still it's still long, plenty long. It's still not wide. It comes down as much as I need it to, and I don't feel. Overly. Really small. I'll show you now comparing them next to each other. So this is a medium that doesn't have the logo on it. They sent me these shirts beforehand just to make sure that they are the quality that I wanted. Yeah, pull that. Uh, quality that I wanted. So this is a medium that's been washed twice or three times. You can see it still fits really good. It's a little bit wider on the on the sleeves. But very good fit as well. So here are the two. Where is the other one, honey? The small. These are the two smalls. One's been washed. One's not. Can you come help me, please? 同学。 So which has been washed? The blue one. The blue one's been washed. The brown one hasn't. And you can see. Like, barely, barely, barely any shrinkage at all. So that's, I'm really pleased with that. That's what I was going for. That's going in the video. Okay, I'm just gonna pull up on here the exact prices and everything. It's a little bit different from American to Canadian. We gave the Canadians like a two dollar break or something like that because. The exchange rate is ridiculous and the shipping is absolutely ridiculous for the Canadians. I'm sorry it's that way. It just is. In order for me to go with the right people, so again I'm not. I'm not shipping these shirts out. I don't have these. I don't touch these at all. They're drop shipped. They're drop shipped one time a week, and that's better for everyone. I'm I'm gone all the time. It's super hard for me to take these orders and get backed up on these orders and ship them out and all that stuff from here. It's easier for the company to do that, and that's one of the reasons I went with this company. They're very, very good about that kind of stuff. So they'll have they'll be able to answer all your questions and everything, and I'll give you the the website like I said. Like the shirts as well, they fit nice even on a lady. Yes, V-neck shirts might be the next thing for the ladies. Also, sweaters. What about a hoodie? I think a hoodie might be pretty cool, and maybe even a beanie, like a a toque. We tried doing just the original logos, the the Joe Robin or the Scout logo. It didn't look right on the shirt by itself. We put it right in the middle. It didn't look what right. We put it on the chest. It didn't look right. So what I think I might do on a toque, I mean sorry on on a hoodie, is like put like a little signature or a little saying here, and have a big Scout logo on the back. Yeah, that would be alright then. Yeah. So Joey's been preparing to go on this trip. He just got back. They're leaving again. So it's been kind of like a rush, rush. Get ready. Spend some time together. Shoot videos. Edit videos. He's going up to Sean's cabin. They're gonna spend the night there, and then they're gonna head out and do some ice fishing, which I think is pretty cool. Yeah, I've never really been ice fishing. Would you like to ice fish? Maybe if I don't have to touch the fish. If I wear gloves, I'll touch the fish. I've been getting better. No, you're you're better. Okay, so um, so I'm looking right now at the adult tees for the Canada. Actually, they're all the same price for for Canada. It says right underneath the t-shirts it says twenty dollars US, and then in in parentheses it says twenty four sixty five Canadian. So you're getting like a couple dollar discount already because it would have been like twenty six or something, and then. Um, the shipping is like ten bucks or something like that to Canada, which absolutely sucks. And I'm sorry, uh, it just is what it is. Then you go to the states. So there's two options: you can go to Canadian customers or USA customers. You go to to the states, USA, and they're just twenty one ninety nine. So in Canada, they're twenty dollars a pop. Plus like six bucks exchange plus like ten bucks. Shipping and in the states they're twenty one ninety nine plus like three bucks shipping or something like that. So it really is about the same. They're rounding out to being very similar. It's just we're trying to give the Canadians a little bit of a break because of this horrible, horrible exchange and shipping. They'll collect the orders for the next few days, print and ship, and your order will be shipped out within approximately seven to ten days. Okay, so it will be shipped out. It's these guys doing it. It's Their job, you know. I mean, this is what they do. They're good at their job. Hunter, the gentleman who's been helping me, is a fan who knows about the channel. So it's really good when it comes time to work the designs and stuff. We'll be getting a bunch more designs in the store. Remember, on a couple videos ago, I said like two on the inside, one the outside. Could be a shirt that could very very well be a shirt. I could get a whole bunch of stuff in there. We're gonna do dog bowls, collapsible dog bowls with Skoots logo on them. So that should be pretty cool. Yeah, looking forward to it. Lots of ideas in the works. Yeah, tons, tons, and then this isn't even on our on our website on the Joe Robinette website. It's something completely different. You know what I mean? So. Something new we're trying out. So what are you gonna do while I'm gone this time? Not much. Take our kid back and forth to school. Relax. That's. Oh yeah, so that's another thing we do is, which is really helpful. We have like a. A whole community that helps us. We all they all know like my mom, Will's mom. I guess that's basically it. But everybody in the family kind of knows that this is the important thing that I need to be doing right now, and everybody everybody benefits from it. Everyone's very supportive. Everyone is very proud of Joey. Everybody's been very good. So it's yeah, it's nice to have a support group, and that's one of the reasons we decided to stay living here. Um, you guys remember I probably talked about about about moving a little while ago, and we still want to. Yeah, we do want to. And we will. Yeah, we just can't jump to that right. It can't be like a there's stepping stones we have to take. So, part of the reason we wanted to stay here is we're going to try to have a kid, and we need the support from our families and stuff. Just like I'm saying with Emerald and while I'm gone. So yeah, so be here. It's a little bit easier now that I don't work because I was working a lot. I worked almost fifty hours a week, and my mother, your mother, would all help get out to and from school and take care of her in between and stuff. Right. Now that I'm able to stay home, whether it's easier, but our mother still like to be a part. Yes, we're very grateful for it. Yes. Yep. Well, it's supposed to be pretty cold up there, negative twenty at night. We're gonna be doing some ice fishing, so I'll be. It'll be nice to see Sean. I haven't seen him since I did that little interview with him. He's been blowing up lately, killing it on the YouTubes. So maybe maybe someone that can trickle over to me, return the favor, eh, Sean?
