Notre Dame vs. BYU Preview: Irish Face Test in Provo

Another huge game in Provo. This is Notre Dame and Brigham Young. Boy, I'll tell you what, this BYU team does not get a lot of love. It's a pretty good football team. Notre Dame is stacked all across the board. First, before you get into the game, how do you think Notre Dame has played this year so far, heading up into this game? I mean, I think they look remarkable. I don't really know, you know, kind of what else you could want. I also think it's been one of these interesting things where um sometimes you play teams at the right time perception wise right everyone thinks they're good you beat them you get a lot of credit and actually like they were on their way out Notre Dame's been the opposite they beat Wisconsin i was like yeah wisconsin are terrible maybe not they beat purdue by a million but well it's purdue okay yeah well purdue are playing they played minnesota and demolished i mean i don't think purdue are garbage i don't think north carolina are garbage by the way, no i think bill belichick's got a little bit something going on uh at Chapel Hill right now so just just to your you know initial question there I think everyone's like oh the schedule the schedule I think the schedule is a little bit harder than people give it credit for and they're continuing to completely dominate that schedule here's what I'm seeing having won two national titles they're starting to embrace that moniker of playing with pressure I think when a team starts to take that on you start to see that being exuded on weekends And you're starting to see those guys, when situations in-game happen, Notre Dame is picking it up right now. And I really like the way that they're playing here.
