Hey, a thumbs up?
How about a heads up?
You're only six days away from the next Burger Thursday
at Ray's at Killer Creek in Alpharetta.
Yeah, of course, their acclaimed double-stack
burger is on the menu every night.
But on Thursdays, they're doing something a little different.
They're breaking out what they call their perfect pair feature.
All right, this week, burgers will buck.
We are back in Alpharetta,
and we're back at Ray's Killer Creek, hanging out with Brandon.
How you doing, man?
I'm doing good. How are you doing today?
Doing great. So we were here in 2021.
Look at that thing. It's pretty large.
Here we go, Pablo.
It's been a long time and there's some things that are new
and different and changing around here. Is that not the case?
Yes, sir. There is. There's a lot of new changes going
on and a lot of special days that we have.
All right, before we get to this, which we're going to get
to it quickly, I've always heard it forever, Ray's Killer Creek.
But I'm like, is there really a Killer Creek?
And there's a story behind that, isn't there?
Yes. So we're actually located on Killer Creek.
So the creek was named after a chief, an Indian chief,
that the locals had trouble pronouncing his name.
But it sounded a lot like killer.
So they named the creek after him, Killer Creek,
which is located behind the restaurant, as well as a nature preserve.
What a cool name, too. I think it's a great name. Killer Creek.
All right. So we're here to talk about burgers.
You guys have done something new and different.
You've got something going on every Thursday
night. We just call it Burger Night, right?
Yes, sir.
All right, tell us about Burger Night, and before we talk specifically,
what are the specifics for Burger Night?
So Burger Night is to promote our Wagyu burger
that you have in front of us,
and it also pairs excellent
with our big old-fashioned that we have right here.
And we have a deal where you can get both of them for $30,
and it's a great pairing to enjoy
for a nice night out and a nice dinner.
Limited supply on Thursday.
Limited supply, yes, sir.
I want to point that out, limited supply.
All right, I want you to—what's this burger called?
Does it have a name?
So this is called our Ray's Wagyu Burger.
It's going to be with a sesame seed bun, a eight-ounce Wagyu patty,
a homemade bacon jam that's going to have bacon, onions.
Can you hear my mouth watering?
Can you hear that?
Yes, I do.
It also has a little bit of brown sugar and a red wine vinegar.
And then it's topped with a sharp white cheddar cheese
and a rosemary aioli,
which really just brings it all together.
So it's Ray's Wagyu Burger,
but it's only available one night a week, right?
One night a week on Thursday, and it's limited supply.
When we run out, we're out.
All right, so say you don't get here on a Thursday.
You want to come on a Wednesday or a Friday or whatever.
There's other burger options on the menu nightly, right?
Yes, sir.
We have a double-stack burger that you can get any day of the week,
and that one is also an excellent burger as well.
Has the Thursday promotion, how long
has it been going on, or is it brand new?
I would say it's been going on for about three, four weeks now.
Okay, and people catching on?
Yes, they are.
It's a really popular hit, and we've actually been seeing
a few people coming back every Thursday already for it.
I got a feeling they're going to be catching
on this following Thursday coming up.
I got a pretty good feeling.
I'm ready to give it a try, Brandis.
I'm going to hand this to you if that's okay.
Of course.
Ray's Wagyu Burger, right?
Yes, sir.
Only available on Thursday.
Can I put the pickles on?
Is that cool?
Yes, of course.
I think that's going to add to it.
Yeah, there we go.
There we go.
There it is right there.
Got a little weight to it.
Let's see.
Yeah, there.
Happy Thursday.
So what did you think?
Before I answer, I probably should give this a taste.
Oh, yeah, definitely.
Because you said they pair together nicely, right?
It's excellent.
We use, actually,
our homemade fig simple syrup to make that cocktail,
and I really think it brings it together.
It's a little bit sweeter of an old-fashioned,
but it has a nice finish and pairs really well with the burger.
You know what?
That gives a thumbs up.
That gives a thumbs up.
That's two thumbs up, right?
Awesome.
Brandon, thank you so much.
Thank you.
I'm going to eat every bite of this, if that's okay.
Go right ahead.
Say back to you.
Well, thank you again for stopping in with us here,
And we can't wait to see you on Thursday here at Ray's at Killer Creek.
Only six days away is the killer deal on a killer burger
and cocktail at Ray's at Killer Creek.
Remember, burger night including Ray's Wagyu Burger with fries
and a fig, old-fashioned, for $30.
It's only on Thursday nights, and the supply is limited.
Ray's at Killer Creek is open for dinner beginning
at 4 o'clock, seven days a week.
And they also have a very popular Sunday
brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
You've got to check this out.
You ready?
I'm ready.
All right, so this week we have
a special shout-out to 12-year-old Aaliyah Sally.
She's from Atlanta.
She has absolutely nailed this.
Watch this.
And for this, we're going to give
her an official Burgers with Bucks salute.
She's thinking about it.
Her parents sent this to me
and said she does it every time she eats, which I love.
It looks like she's enjoying some sushi there.
So her name's Aaliyah Sally.
I'm thinking she could start a segment, Sushi with Sally.
Perfect.
What do you think?
I love it.
Listen, thank you, Aaliyah.
Thanks to Mom and Dad for sending that job well done.
She has the posture perfectly down pat.
You've got to think about it for a second.
See how she kind of focuses?
Hands clasped.
She nailed it.
