Grand Tasting Midtown 2026: Restaurants showcase dishes

Well, the Grand Tasting Midtown is back. Tonight, you can taste more than 25 of Midtown's top restaurants at the Epicurean Atlanta Hotel. That's where we find Fox 5's Lauren Robinson. This is just right up your alley, Lauren. I'm not surprised that you're reporting live from here. But this event is sold out. It sounds like it's amazing. It is. And Christine, you know where there's good food, I'm going to find it. So that's what I'm bringing you with today. We are at the Grand Tasting Midtown at the Epicurean Hotel in Atlanta. So with me, I do have a very notable chef. This is Chef Andrea, and he's with Enzo Steakhouse and Bar, which will eventually be located here at the Epicurean. But first, let's talk a little bit about the event. It's still early. It's still setting up. The event will be tonight from 6 to 10 p.m. As you said, it is sold out. But just for a little bit of information, this is part of the Taste of Atlanta umbrella. So, under it, there's Grand Tasting Midtown, which is the event. There's also Grand Tasting Alpharetta and Food That Rocks Sandy Springs. So, here tonight, we have over 25 Midtown restaurants, all local to Midtown. And, again, they'll be here tonight from 6 to 10. But one of the restaurants that we have today, again, this is Enzo, and I have Chef Andrea with me. And we are going to be trying, what is this, black garlic lamb chops, right? Yeah, caponata, salsa verde, and Calabrian chimichurri. so i'm gonna taste it and i'm gonna hand you this microphone while i taste it and you're gonna tell me everything to know you're dressing it up here i'm gonna give this probably too big of a bite because it looks fantastic oh man here we go so tell me a little bit about it i'm gonna hand you this microphone there we go so here we have tonight we have a lamb chop it's marinated in black garlic and a little bit of a eggplant caponata at the bottom and a beautiful salsa verde um also the bottom and all is finished with a calabrian chimichurri so absolutely keep on going it's okay we can keep talking about the restaurant we are Enzo, we are opening, we are opening downstairs in Midtown and we'll be opening at the end of this year and we are super excited, can't wait to be part of Midtown all right, absolutely, do I get to get here? yeah yeah yeah so I'll take this back now, now that I've eaten this entire lamb chop, it was so good. now again, unfortunately tickets are sold out for tonight, but if you want to stay tuned into when you can find any of the Taste of Atlanta events make sure you go to tasteofatlanta.com, that's where you can look for updates and even discounts throughout the year as we go into next season, you can be at all of these great events, so from now reporting from the Epicurean Hotel, I'm meteorologist Lauren Robinson for Fox 5 News, I'm gonna keep eating.
