Son accused of killing mom over cats living in Reading home held without bail

Hannafin is accused of shooting and killing his mother a week ago tonight after an apparent argument over the number of cats in the house. Her son had more than a dozen guns in his room and a license to carry. Prosecutors in the last few moments saying his mother told others she feared for her safety with him. One friend indicated that on that particular date, Andrea Hannafin had expressed to her that the defendant had told her that he had ruined her life. The understanding that the investigation revealed is that Ryan Hannafin and his mother had an ongoing dispute about the number of cats that we're living in the home. Our camera is just outside court catching the moment that Reading police arrived with Hannafin in the last hour. That is him in the yellow shirt, handcuffed with his hands behind his back.
