6 witnesses take stand on first day of testimony in Matthew Farwell murder trial

Six witnesses took the stand Tuesday in the trial of Matthew Farwell.

Matthew Farwell is the former Stoughton police officer charged with killing Sandra Birchmore and her unborn baby.

The prosecution alleged Farwell killed Sandra Birchmore and staged her death to look like a suicide so that she would not expose him for his crimes.
