We begin tonight though with breaking news out of the state of Oregon. Police say five people are believed to have been killed following a shooting at an elementary school in Bend, Oregon. The shooter is confirmed dead as well. It's not clear if they are included in that number. Police say children are among those and a shot was fired outside the Silver Rail Elementary this afternoon as well. Police say the suspect was shot inside the school shortly after police arrived at the scene, although they do not know if the suspect was shot by police or a bystander. We received the first report at 12 59 of a shooter outside of the building shooting into a car. And within about a minute, we were receiving multiple 911 calls from within the school. Our officers were on scene at 102 and the shooter was down seconds later. This is the kind of thing we never want to see happen in Bend. It's devastating. Apologies. It's devastating.
