Hey guys, Hammy here.
Now, you're going to get a recipe today, as usual,
but it's also going to be me taking the
Fire Noodle Challenge.
If you haven't heard, these are the spiciest noodles on the market.
They are the Samyang Two Times Spicy Chicken Noodles.
They have this adorable little, uh, is it a duck or a...
Well, I assume it's a chicken because it's chicken noodles,
but it might be a duck.
It looks like a duck to me, but he's adorable.
He's got a really awkward-looking bowl cut.
I'm sure he gets picked on by all the other ducks
and he's wearing underwear
I don't think this kind of mascot would fly stateside.
I like him though
I don't know what his name is, but I like him. I like his haircut
I like his attitude and I like his noodles now this brand's awesome
because they make flavors like curry cheese
And just one spicy chicken,
which are the spiciest noodles on the market
You've probably already seen some people
I've never had them before
I have a very high tolerance for spicy food, but I don't know
I might I'm going to show you how to make them really tasty
In a quick little video
but I'll also put a time stamp in the description if you just want
to skip to me eating these noodles and suffering and crying and
Begging for mercy, but I'm not gonna turn off
the camera until they're done
So
let's
get
to it
then.
Let's
make
these
does
not
bode
well
for
what's
coming
here
They are they're very tasty as you can see still warm.
Well, there's impact
I'm gonna, I'm out of milk, which would be a smarter choice here.
I've got my chopsticks.
Let's, uh, let's start.
Bite number one. Whole thing.
Here, I'm gonna hold it up
so I don't seem
to cheat. Ugh. Why did I add more to this?
Why did I add more vegetables? I was really determined
on making, like, an actual noodle dish.
I'm two bites in, and I already can't stand it.
It's super hot. In the background,
there's some, like, sweetness,
and, like, there's flavor there
that's actually really tasty if you temper the heat a little bit.
This is pure heat. All I taste
fire there's not any background flavors
in fact it could use a little bit of soy sauce
oh my god just beat around it i don't know
if i can make it let's see how far i can go
believe in yourself kids oh my god look got a
sweaty upper lip everything burns my lip burns
the outside of my lip burns who wants this who wants
this who wants that it doesn't even have
like a great flavor it's just pure heat there's not room for flavor
because it would be blown out
You think the vegetables
and the chicken would absorb some of the heat?
I can't taste the chicken. All I can taste is flames.
Why did I do this?
What do I have to prove?
I'm not competitive. I'm not the kind of guy that's like,
I can do it! I can't.
Oh my god. This is painful.
To the point where like, I can't recommend you do this.
Because I like to think I have a pretty high tolerance for spice.
Oh, that's how much is left.
Should I go more?
Let's see if I can make it to 10. If I can make it to 10, I can stop.
Oh, there's not enough water
in the world for this.
there's not enough milk there's certainly
not enough coke zero you know when you swallow
something and it i'll see my snot's gonna
run i don't want that's gonna be gruesome
okay so it doesn't just hurt my face now i can
feel it sliding down my neck and it burns all
the way down it's gonna hurt coming out i know it i know
that coming out it's gonna feel like
bloody murder which makes me want
to not continue what if i don't have the noodle
if i just have a piece of chicken see
if that's any less painful nope who is this for
who wants this why would anybody buy
this why would anybody eat this you know i heard that
people were doing videos of uh themselves eating
this i never watched them right there i just said
oh how bad can it be i'm losing feeling
in my mouth it's getting progressively worse it just
keeps getting worse i can't i said i was gonna make it
to 10 i can taste snot now that's gross
this little recipe would be delicious i suggest you make it
with some of samyang's other delicious
flavors like the curry or the cheese an equally delicious noodle dish
but you're not gonna get
the pain by the way i don't use
the word pain lightly i am in actual pain right now
and i feel it in my mouth i feel it around
my mouth i feel it filling my throat and i am not
looking forward to feeling it once i digest
this i'm probably gonna swallow like 13 tums right now
see if I can't prevent any, oh my god, any, uh, you know, hazards.
Do I recommend you take this? No.
I would recommend you not eat this,
but if you're curious, there's a link in the description
to buy some, follow that, or hit up your local Asian market
and buy one. I wouldn't buy, I wouldn't
commit to a five-pack,
I wouldn't commit to a two-pack because these noodles are too spicy for
life. I don't know what I'm gonna do with these.
If you liked watching me suffer, make sure to give
a like or a dislike if you thought
this was a completely foolish endeavor and it was shame on me
shame on everyone who's ever committed
to this and shame on the Samyang Corporation for making
noodles that aren't edible by humans
so anyway i just failed the noodle challenge if you like
