Halloween EDC Kit 2026 | Orange & Black Everyday Carry Challenge
It’s Halloween, and we’re putting together a special orange-and-black everyday carry kit!
For this Halloween EDC challenge, I gave myself one simple rule: every item had to be something I would normally use, but it also had to be orange, black, or specifically Halloween-themed.
The goal wasn’t to fill a pouch with Halloween decorations or novelty gadgets. I wanted to build a practical, functional EDC kit using real tools and equipment that just happen to fit the Halloween aesthetic.
For the foundation of this build, I went with the Viperade VE26 pouch in the Spicy Jalapeño pattern. The black exterior with its orange pattern almost resembles a jack-o’-lantern, making it a perfect fit for this project. Even better, the interior is completely orange!
From there, I assembled a collection of orange-and-black EDC essentials, including a Halloween-themed Nextool multitool, Nitecore flashlight, compact pliers, adjustable wrench, writing instruments, and other useful everyday tools.
This is essentially a normal EDC kit with a Halloween twist. The functionality comes first, and the colors bring the theme together.
The presenter showcases a Halloween-themed Every Day Carry (EDC) kit built within a Viperade \"Spooky Jalapeno\" pouch. The challenge requires all items to be tools the presenter actually uses, strictly adhering to an orange and black color scheme. The kit balances utility and aesthetics, combining specialized tools, medical supplies, and themed accessories.
Right, we are back with another review,
and today we got a Halloween-themed EDC video for you.
So without further ado, let's hop right to this review.
So today we're going to be doing a build
in the Viperade pouch with the spooky jalapeno outer shell.
This one, the constraints,
the things in here have to be real items that I use.
They got to be orange or black. Pretty cool, right?
And of course, the only custom thing here that's 3D printed.
So another thing is I can't
be 3D printing things just to satisfy the rule.
Uh is just a little glow, uh dongle for the zipper.
So that's the only thing I 3D printed here
So that being said let's check this out actually before we start
on zippers have nothing in this pouch
The only thing I have up front here is an anchor power bank
and inside here is the scatter pattern boom
So we'll go left to right
First up we got is the spooky themed next tool little
halloween knife full size blade, which is nice
Bit driver, it's got tweezers and it has scissors on here as well
You also have the normal functions like your bottle opener can opener,
but check out these full-size scissors
So main event is the scissors
the precision flip bit driver the tweezers the knife
I think that's kind of a nice little I guess you could
say tool balance without having any pliers or grippage
Built into the multi-tool. That's about as good of a setup
as you can get and it's Halloween themed, which is cool
We have a black flash drive 8 gig. We have a high-speed
speed cable, orange, USB-C to USB-C for charging my phone and devices.
And then we have a tactical
little mini pill case, which is nice.
And I also have a piece of MEG or military energy gum in
there, as well as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, Tylenol, and Imodium.
So a little pill loadout,
if you would. And that's everything on
the left side. Now down the middle here,
I put a little tether system with a carabiner.
And I have here hanging dedicated box opener
and bottle opener from Gerber.
All it does is just do those two things. Then from Nitecore,
we have a flashlight. Pretty cool.
And then over here on the right is where all the rest of the
tools are. Straight up,
we have a ExoTac fire sleeve with a black lighter. I use Teredbank
line to tether the lid and the sleeve together.
You've probably seen this in another video,
but it's orange and black, so it should definitely
be in here. You know me, I like my fire
starting implements especially convenient ones like
that the tether system again if you lose
the lid this sleeve don't work we got a full size right
in the rain pen bright orange as well
for the kits then we have a nice little custom thing here
from it's a fidget from Chalk or Lottie
EDC, it's a little TRG slider with CTRG
and it's got a full Halloween theme on it so they sent
this over to me and I thought that was really cool
and definitely should be in a Halloween
themed EDC video next up we got
is a Klein scribe marker full size orange and black you know it
next up we got is the Knipex mini cobras
then we have the adjustable little pliers wrench there
from Crescent so we got marring
and a non-marring solution you can't beat that especially since the
multi-tool that I chose has neither
and then last thing in the pouch is going to be a little right
in the rain orange notebook with a black band
on it got two band-aids in here a packet of electrolyte
powder basically a little mobile admin kit slash filing system
so this is essentially my challenge
complete this is a Halloween themed EDC kit I use
the Viperade Spooky Jalapeno pouch and everything
in here is orange and black
and everything in here is a tool I would actually use so that's
essentially what I did was I built
the kit out how I would actually use it and then I just swapped
out the tools with an orange and black one
so pretty cool why don't you let me know down in
the comments below what do you think about this little orange
and black little challenge do you
have a Halloween EDC loadout that you want
to put together for this little color challenge or
holiday challenge let me know
and if you end up doing that maybe link your channel down there as
well and we'll go check it out
but yeah this is a pretty cool little uh theme for this holiday and
i thought it was fun putting this together
and uh yeah why don't you let me know what how i did
would you cherry pick something out of here
for your own kits what would you remove what should
I add. Let me know all that down in the comments below.
