October 2026 EDC Pocket Dump — My Everyday Carry
This is my October 2026 EDC Pocket Dump — and unlike a theoretical loadout or a collection of gear I might carry, this is my actual everyday carry.
Everything you see in this video is part of the system I genuinely leave the house with. I put on the vest, grab my normal EDC, and go.
One of the biggest changes this time around is consolidation. I previously used two small Maxpedition pouches — the Platy and the Pico — to organize different parts of my carry. For this version, I’ve condensed that setup into one Maxpedition pouch, simplifying the system while keeping the items I actually use and want with me.
The vest itself is an important part of the system. Instead of constantly loading and unloading pants pockets, the vest gives my everyday carry a consistent home and lets the entire setup move with me.
You’ll also notice that this EDC doesn’t revolve around a collection of ultra-compact tools. That’s intentional. For my particular lifestyle and use case, I normally have access to a full-size set of proper tools either in the vehicle I’m traveling in or at the location where I’m working. I don’t need my pockets to duplicate an entire toolbox.
That’s ultimately what EDC should be: purpose-built around the person actually carrying it.
This isn’t what I think everyone else should carry. It’s what works for me, where I live, what I do, and how I actually move through my day.
Gear and brands featured include Maxpedition, CIVIVI, EXOTAC, Rite in the Rain, Leatherman, DeWalt, Kaweco, Tacray, Legendary Whitetails and my normal CCW setup.
