Starship Flight 15 May Not Launch This Month Due To... S40 Came to Gulf!
Starship Flight 15 may be slipping beyond October, and the latest activity around S42 could reveal why. As SpaceX prepares for what could become the first-ever Starship Ship catch, new testing, engine removal, and possible additional cryogenic work are raising questions about the Flight 15 launch timeline.
At the same time, S40 is finally coming home after an extraordinary journey across the world's oceans following its orbital flight and splashdown. Its return to the Gulf could give SpaceX valuable hardware data from the vehicle's heat shield, structure, and reentry performance—information that could directly influence future Starship missions.
But that's not all. We'll also look at Blue Origin's ambitious lunar Power Tower concept and NASA's PRIMA space telescope, a proposed far-infrared observatory that could open a new window into the universe.
In this video, we will answer:
Starship Flight 15 May Not Launch This Month Due To... S40 Came to Gulf!
Why could Starship Flight 15 miss an October launch?
Is SpaceX preparing S42 for another cryogenic test?
Could Flight 15 attempt the first Starship Ship catch?
What can S40's return reveal about Starship's future?
How could Blue Origin's lunar Power Tower support Moon bases?
What could NASA's PRIMA telescope reveal about the universe?
From Starship Flight 15 and S42 to S40's long journey home, Blue Origin's lunar infrastructure, and NASA's next-generation space telescope, this episode explores the engineering decisions and developments shaping the next era of spaceflight.
