Klein Tools Subcompact EDC Kit — Updated Loadout

This Klein Tools subcompact EDC kit is in a really good place right now.
I’ve been refining this setup over time, and this latest version includes a few small changes that make the whole kit fit my actual day-to-day use a little better.
One of the biggest updates is the tape measure. I swapped out the larger DeWalt 9-foot tape measure for a compact Klein 6-foot tape measure, which makes a lot more sense for the scale of this pouch and keeps the whole system more consistent with the rest of the Klein setup.
A few other items have also been adjusted as I’ve continued using the kit, but the overall goal hasn’t changed: build a compact tool pouch that gives me a useful range of real tools without carrying a full-size tool bag.
This is still one of my favorite ways to build a practical EDC kit because Klein makes so many small-format tools that actually work together well in a compact system.
If you like subcompact tool kits, small EDC builds, or Klein Tools in general, this one should be right in your wheelhouse.
