I Finally Did It! My First 48 Hours Living in a Van

This is it. Full-time vanlife starts NOW. 🚐❤️

After a really difficult six months, the foster children have now left and I've decided to take some time away from fostering and see if I can make the life I've been dreaming about actually work.

The plan?

Live in my campervan, travel around the UK and try to build enough online income to keep me on the road.

For my first 48 hours of full-time solo vanlife, I headed to Yorkshire.

And honestly... this is exactly what I needed.

🥾 Hiking through some incredible Yorkshire scenery
💦 Chasing waterfalls
🚐 Finding places to park and sleep
💻 Attempting to work from the van
📶 Discovering that internet signal might be a bigger problem than I expected!

Because this isn't just a holiday.

If I'm going to make this lifestyle sustainable, I need to continue working on the road and build my online income towards my £100-a-day goal.

And that's slightly difficult when your laptop works perfectly...

But the internet doesn't. 😂

These first 48 hours gave me a little taste of the freedom I've been working towards for months — but also some of the realities of trying to actually live AND work from a tiny campervan.

This is the start of a completely new chapter.

Let's see where it takes me. 🚐❤️
