Floor To Ceiling Finds At Surf Mall On Ocean City Boardwalk

We're on the move. We are at the Surf Mall at 12th and the Boardwalk. I got my friends here at Slimeology. All right, fill me up. Come on. We're going to learn how to make slime today. Right here, they have 10 stores under one roof. Perfect for a cold day, a hot day, a rainy day. All right, I get the colors, my super stuff. Now, the only question I have is whose head we're going to pour this on when we get done? Yours! What? No way! All right, hang tight. This ought to be good. Well, that backfired on him, didn't it? Shaving cream? Whoa! He's down there in Ocean City having fun. Yeah, breaking news. I found the only bar in Ocean City. Yes, the bar. It's the Patch Bar. We are here at the Surf Mall. Check out my hat. Tanned and tipsy. This is pretty cool. You can come in and mix and match. You start with a blank hat, and they have hundreds of different patches to personalize your own hat. Here's some of my favorites. First of all, the duck is good. I like the fillies, the eagles. You got to have a pretzel. And coming next year, they promise a jelly donut. Right, Wes? That's absolutely right. My man. So we're in the Surf Mall, which used to be the old movie theater. That's right. Yep. We used to be the surf theater back in the 1960s where Rocky Horror Picture Shows and things like that were going on in here. Wow. It turned into a movie theater. And then the early 80s, we made it a mall, a boardwalk mall. So you have probably close to 10 different stores, I would say, right? Different vendors all under one roof. Yep, that's right. The idea is that we kind of got a little bit of everything in here for everybody. And the very first surf shop. Where's Greg the surfer? Here he is. What's up, guy? What up, my man? The very first surf shop. Tell me about it. Since 1962, George Gerlach opened, nestled in 31st Street. Since then, it's a groovy old building. Predates 1890. Wow. What's the hottest item? The hottest item, surfer supplies, hats, all incorporating our logo. Okay. That's cool. This is our logo right in there. This is the hottest item. And another hot item. You ready? Yeah, I'm ready. Come over here. This thing right here for girls, the mock turtle. Okay. It's a hot item. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. My daughter wants one. All right. Yeah, that's hot. And as always, sunglasses, UV shirts to protect her epidermal layer. Okay. Skateboards, boogie boards, and skimboards. Got it all. And he's the first. As soon as you come in the door. And look at this. You get some specialized T-shirts, right? You make your T-shirts. Got to have a T-shirt. That's right. On the boardwalk. And then down here over on this side, the kids will love this section right here. This is all the candy and the hot TikTok items, like the squishies, the squeegees, and all that other stuff.
