AI GeneratedThe Clover Market is a recurring community event featuring handmade and vintage goods. The latest outdoor fall market in Kennett Square hosts 100 vendors, food trucks, and live music, emphasizing local craftsmanship and personal connection over mass-market online shopping.
Back into Philadelphia live,
and you heard me before I tossed to the break.
I said, Clover Market, because we've had Janet on the side,
because this is how this works, guys.
There's a whole bunch of stuff going on over here,
so you probably see me sometimes looking off to the side, looking here,
because there's monitors everywhere.
Janet has been a trooper,
because she has been on hold for quite some time.
It's okay.
As we were going through audio issues.
Janet, thank you so much for joining us.
I mean, talk to us a little bit about the Clover Market.
Well, we are out here in Kennett Square right now,
and I don't know how much you can see,
but we have 100 beautiful handmade and vintage vendors,
food trucks, a band which just got started,
and we're out here having a beautiful,
beautiful day after many rainy weekends this fall.
Very nice. I mean,
talk to us a little bit about the importance of having this event,
because I'm guessing this is something you guys do relatively often.
Yes, we do it. Clover Market is held four times in the spring
and four times in the fall,
and then we do a big holiday market, which is coming up soon.
So we do them in Chestnut Hill,
Collingswood, Bryn Mawr,
and this is our final one of our fall outdoor season,
which is here in downtown Kennett Square.
And then we've got a holiday market coming up indoors
in November, on November 21st and 22nd at the Westtown School.
And it's important because it
It gives handmade vendors and people who source antiques
and vintage an opportunity to come out.
And as you can see, they can sell their wares.
We've got customers who love to support handmade and local goods
and basically want to just get together in person,
not buy off Amazon, and be able to come out and be in community.
I love that.
And based on you showing around,
there's a good amount of people that are out there today.
Yes, yes.
I'm going to do my best to show you.
but basically behind me, this is just one aisle of many.
And if I can walk and talk, I'll do my
best. But we've got, you know, there's a hundred tents set up out here.
We have a huge, huge
parking lot for this one.
I'm walking backwards, so hopefully I can make it down the aisle here.
But yes, all of them are set up in these beautiful white tents.
And we go for many different aisles
here in this large parking lot.
And then we've got a whole other section behind me that you can't see
of our food trucks beer
and wine we've got our band that just got started so um it's a it's a
we have a great venue here in downtown Kennett Square I love
that because we we can actually
see we can see the vendors very well there i'm gonna i'm imagining
because i mean there's a
hundred of them or over a hundred that you have said
that you can find all different types of
things here at this market oh yes yep we've got
um i'm just trying to think of how i can give you
a sense of things. We've got handmade jewelry.
We've got pottery. We've got vintage clothing.
We've got antiques, collectibles.
We've got woodworking, handmade clothing. And I think
that that is the one thing that's important for people
to know is that everything here is handmade
and it's made by the person who is standing in this tent.
So when somebody comes out to a Clover
market, they're seeing the person who made that product.
They're getting a different experience
than buying on Amazon.
Thank you so much for showcasing this to us.
This is an incredible event that you guys got going on,
and people definitely should check out the other events
you guys got going on.
And we've been rooting for you this whole time,
and we are so glad that we were able to hear from you.
Thank you.
Thank you for tolerating it.
And listen, if anybody wants to come out,
we're here in Kennett until 4 o'clock.
And then November 21st and 22nd,
we will be indoors at the Westtown School in Westchester
with 125 vendors with beautiful things for your holiday shopping.
That sounds like a great time.
Folks, get on out there.
