Labor Day weekend at the Jersey Shore | Good Day Weekend

Stuff, good stuff. Listen, everyone down the shore has been just taking this last little taste of summer in and of course we had to go back right to the Boardwalk Ocean City and that's where we find Ellen Kolodziej. There's plenty to do and people are taking full advantage. Ellen. Good morning Shana. Good morning everyone. Happy Labor Day weekend. It is the perfect day to be here in Ocean City or anywhere down the shore and let me tell you thousands of people are out and about today. They have been out here walking, running, jogging, riding bikes. We have already talked to so many nice people. Hey let's talk to these people. Hey guys where are you from? We're live right now. Which neighborhood? Oh well we're right outside Philadelphia now. We're in Upper Moreland. Upper Moreland. So tell me about your beautiful family. What's this guy's name? This is our son Kieran. He's 16 months. This is my husband Kyle. My daughter Josie's back at the house sleeping still. She'll be like darn I wasn't on TV right now. She's four. How old's this guy? He's 16 months. Oh tell me why you wanted to be here on Labor Day weekend. Oh well we come down every year. It's a family tradition to be down here. We've been coming down since I was a baby. My dad's been coming down since he was a kid. So it's just always been our family tradition to be down here. So I love it and the place to be is Ocean City. I mean it's beautiful today. Yep absolutely. I love Ocean City. So what have you been doing with the kids? They've been, have they been in the ocean? Oh yeah. Oh yeah. They love the ocean. This one keeps beelining it right for the ocean. Can't keep up with him. Our daughter loves it. We actually just put her a couple more beach toys under the stroller. But yeah we've been going on rides, going to the beach. And I didn't even ask your name. Oh my name's Morgan. Morgan. Thank you Morgan. You have a beautiful family. Bye guys. Have a great time. You too. Have a great one. I think that Morgan and her beautiful family really just epitomize why it's so much fun here on Labor Day weekend. The unofficial end of summer. People are just having a ball as my mom used to say. So you can just see so many people out and about. We were in Atlantic City yesterday and there were some people out. But I think maybe those guys in Atlantic City get up a little later. I don't know. But these guys have been out and about all morning. Hey happy Labor Day weekend. Hi. But I love some of the bike Shane. I look how like some of them are so creative and I love when they, when the families have the bikes. But anyway this is, it's a great time here. I never complain about going to the shore for a story. Exactly. You can't complain right? The weather's great. The water's there. The food is there. The people are there. It's all fun stuff.
