Port Orange police lobby shooting happened in 5 minutes

A 71-year-old woman, Linda Croteau, was fatally shot by officers after entering the Port Orange Police Department with a handgun. After firing toward an evidence room and ignoring orders to disarm, she was confronted in the parking lot. Police fired multiple shots after she attempted to reach for her weapon. The motive remains unknown, and the FDLE is now investigating the incident.
