FOX 5 Zip Trip: Hometown Team National Harbor

And now it's time for your hometown team, which is always one of my favorite segments of the morning. We have Shamari joining me right now. Thank you so much for joining me. Let's not talk about who we have in the future. We have the Top Ladies of Distinction, which is an incredible ladies organization right here in Prince George's County. So please introduce yourself. Hi, I'm Jacqueline Wiltshire. I'm the National First Vice President of Top Ladies of Distinction Incorporated and also the organizer of the Prince George's County Chapter. I'm Lady Carolyn Culver, the Chapter President of the gorgeous Prince George's County Chapter. Good morning, and I'm Cassandra Chess, Chair for the Health Event that's coming up in September. And we're going to get to that in just a second. And you have a whole army of ladies right behind you. Let's talk about your organization, exactly what you do. Our organization was founded in 1964. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization serving youth and adults. We have five major programs for us to include the Top Teens of America, Status of Women, Senior Citizens, Community Beautification, and Community Partnerships. And you also, guys, you reach a lot into the community and you really focus on health. Why is that important to you? What do you want people to get out of that? Basically, with this event and any health event we have. Where is it located? It'll be at Old Prince Community Center. It's in partnership with the Prince George's County Park District. We're also going to be having a blood drive today. September 2nd, September 20th, Old Prince Community. All right, that's excellent. Yeah, do you have a chance to sign up for it ahead of time, or are you going to show up? We do. We're going to show up. We'd like to be your register. You can go to our website on the event page. I want to mention that this is a sponsored segment, right? That's right. John T. Floyd, AC Heating, Pumping, and Electrical. And I just want to, first of all, thank you guys for being a part of this segment, sponsoring it. Especially this time, it's really hot out here. A lot of boats are using their AC. Right, right. Well, I mean, on a day like today, you definitely should break. And we the people will fix it for you. That's called plumbing. But yeah, we're just happy to always be involved with these Zip Trips and with Box 5. So, definitely on a day like today, people are really stretching their systems to the limit. So, be careful. All right, I want to thank you all for coming. Thank you so much. And, you know, I think you all are ready to dance to the song right now, aren't you? So, let's go and do a little dance, come on.
