Warm and muggy with a stray storm tonight in The Bronx

The weather now Labor Day weekend is here. We've had a few days of forecasts. Skyler's got better news. It's going to be nicer as we head into the weekend, so I'm looking forward to that, but we cannot get rid of these pesky shower and storm chances. We have that again as we head into tonight. Over the next few hours, there's the possibility for something to try to pop up, but I'm not totally sold on those chances. But overnight, we have a better chance for a stray, even thundershower or thunderstorm. So there could be some rumbles of thunder during the overnight. Heading into Friday, a mostly dry day, but again, the afternoon and evening risk of some showers and storms trying to bubble up. But until then, partly sunny. That could offer some extra fuel, but I think that we're going to be mostly on the non-severe side for our Friday showers and storms. And as we head into Friday night, we could still have some of those lingering showers and rain conditions. But here's what we're dealing with during the overnight, that opportunity to have a rumble of thunder or just some raindrops here and there, and then we'll see more of that as we head into the afternoon and evening.
