Jurors in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial resumed deliberations Wednesday as the case entered its fifth day. Before proceedings began, Judge William Sullivan warned about protections for jurors and witnesses, one day after a woman was arrested outside the Plymouth courthouse on an intimidation charge.

This morning the judge delivered a stern message after an incident yesterday outside the courthouse.

Court this morning with what the judge said to everyone in the courtroom. Ryan?
Ray, jurors they are now back in the deliberation room but before they entered the courtroom to
start their day the judge putting out a reminder to anyone inside or even outside of the courthouse
during this trial he did not offer up any follow-up or even editorial comment about what
he was saying. I just want to remind everybody here and elsewhere there's been an order that's
been issued in regards to the conducting of this case as well as statutes in this commonwealth
which relate to jurors witnesses attorneys and others in regards to this proceeding
and everybody should be well aware that those that order and that statute is being enforced
and will be enforced. That comment may be about an incident that happened yesterday.
Tuesday afternoon state police arrested a person outside of the courthouse. They say 56 year old
Don Light of Sutton is expected to be arraigned today on one charge of intimidation of a witness
jurors or person furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings.
Defense attorney Kevin Reddington telling our Bob Ward that the jury was told about the arrest of
the courthouse and that everything was fine with the jurors. Counsel was called to sidebar and when
jurors were brought in they went through their normal process and then they were sent back out
with any problems to continue their deliberations. The jury can choose between five options for a
verdict in the Lindsay Clancy trial. First degree murder, second degree murder, manslaughter,
not guilty or not criminally responsible. Remember Lindsay Clancy admits that she
killed her three children but the defense says that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis.
The prosecution says she planned the murders. Now so far the jury has only sent one note saying that
they were deadlocked. They also sent a question of the judge where they wanted to see a knife
and two pill bottles that were part of evidence.
