Dear Internet, Dwayne Johnson Has Seen All Your Jokes About His Maui Wig

The internet is obsessed with your wig. So I just want to know like what has been your reaction to all of that? I haven't laughed that much in a long time to see everybody's reaction to the wig because, and I get it, I'm known to look like this and that's what people are used to. And then they see me all of a sudden with a big beautiful wig on and it was so jarring for people and the internet does the internet. And my hope is when the internet did the internet, I was like, okay, please entertain me though, you know? And it was very, very entertaining, but, but also I knew, um, I get it. It's jarring. It will pass by and the film will come out and I want you to see the film. Cause I knew what we had. It was like, he and I have been talking about this. I call it, we got this thing and we can't wait for people to see it. Like we got a secret. I can't wait for you to see it. So I just, I, I knew. Thomas, what did you, what was your first reaction when you saw the hair? Well, you know, I saw Dwayne more on set than offset, so I didn't know he was bald. That was like a, that was a revelation for me. But you know, one of the things that they talked about back in 2016 and when we were, you know, talking about making this version is, you know, you know, Maui's power is related to his hair and the length of his hair and the fullness of that is, is directly connected to his mama. See, that's what I'm used to. I'm used to, to Dwayne with hair. That's kind of like the image I have associated with him because I spent 80 days with him looking like that. So now when I see him. So when you see him now. Yeah, I'm like, who is this? I, I have no, who? I'm like, I don't know who that is. Sorry.
