It's Benzinga bringing Wall Street to Main Street.
Deere shares climbed more than 3% Monday after Baird upgraded the stock to outperform
from neutral and raised its price target to $800 from $640, according to Benzinga.
Analyst Mircea Dobre said Deere is well positioned to benefit from improving
North American row crop demand, with his research pointing to further stock gains into 2027.
Dobre said Deere's mid-single-digit growth guidance for early planter and sprayer orders
may be conservative and could signal a rebound in its production and precision
agriculture business.
Dobre expects earnings to approach $25 per share in 2027 and reach the mid-dollar 30-seconds range
in 2028. Shares were up 3.13% at $650.07 and were approaching their 52-week high
of $674.18, according to Benzinga Pro.
