Want more power on your tennis serve without forcing the swing?

In this video, I’ll show you two of my favorite drills for developing effortless power and better flow on the serve.

First, we’ll use the windmill / figure-8 drill to create a smooth, continuous racket path through the power loop. Then we’ll add the legs and coordinate the leg drive with the racket drop so your entire motion works together.

You’ll learn how to:

Stay fluid instead of muscling the racket
Use the windmill or figure-8 to develop rhythm
Feel the L-shape power position
Time the leg drive before the racket enters the backscratch position
Start with a half motion and progress into a full serve
Connect the legs, racket drop, and upward acceleration for more speed

The goal is not to swing harder. It’s to create a better sequence so the racket can accelerate naturally.

Practice these drills regularly and you’ll start developing a smoother, faster, and more powerful serve.
