Ukrainian missiles are becoming an increasingly serious problem for Russia. This became clear after two Flamingos successfully attacked the Progress Rocket and Space Center in Samara. This was reported by the Russian independent publication "We Can Explain". The attack left two holes in the roof of the Russian center, one of which measured 85 by 35 meters. "This is one of the most powerful and remote instances of the use of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' new long-range missiles from the Russian-Ukrainian border," the publication writes. Military expert Serhiy Migdal called the Ukrainian Flamingo missiles "working weapons" and "poor man's Tomahawks." This missile is simpler than its American counterpart, and therefore less effective at penetrating Russian air defenses. However, its advantages include its relative low cost, ease of manufacture, and a more powerful warhead. An even greater challenge for Russia will be Ukrainian ballistic missiles, which appear to be close to being launched. They will be difficult to intercept and have a flight time of only a few minutes. "As with the Flamingo, the key is to launch mass production. Five to 10 missiles a month is just 'harassing fire' for Russia. But if there are 100 to 200, that will create serious problems throughout the European part of Russia," the Russian publication writes. Theoretically, Russia has air defense systems capable of intercepting ballistic missiles—the S-400 and S-500. However, how the system will perform in practice is unknown. As can be seen, even the Flamingo missiles are not always effective at intercepting much lighter targets. Moreover, Russia has a shortage of these systems, and they cannot cover the entire country's vast territory.
Previously Russian state radio station Komsomolskaya Pravda unexpectedly began talking about Russia's wartime exhaustion. It also called on Russians to prepare for retaliatory missile strikes from Ukraine.
Russian political scientist Andrei Klintsevich, known as Z, made a frank statement. He recalled how Russian television channels had previously ridiculed Ukraine's Flamingo missiles. Now that they've flown into Russia, the laughter has disappeared. And the situation for Russia, he believes, will only get worse.
"Missiles will be flying in our direction, just like they already are. Everyone used to laugh at the Flamingo... I remember having to dissuade people on air... If a ton flies three thousand kilometers, that's serious. Unfortunately, it's started hitting factories. When ballistic missiles with a warhead weight of 600-900 kg fly, that's serious. That's not 50 kg, like the Lyuty missile. Unfortunately, all of that will fly. Unfortunately, we need to understand what kind of hits these will be," Klintsevich said. Citing Russian intelligence data, he reported that Ukraine is increasing production of heavy unmanned systems, including unmanned aerial vehicles capable of "dragging a ton of explosives over a thousand kilometers." The propagandist also raised the issue that the war against Ukraine is very quickly exhausting Russia. "We're fighting as best we can, to the fullest extent of our capabilities. There are already serious problems... We're becoming exhausted. It's inevitable, and we're currently calculating how much strength we have left, and for how long. We're depleted in terms of personnel, equipment, weapons, the economy, and ultimately, in terms of square footage of logistics centers," Klintsevich stated.

Video Summary
AI GeneratedUkrainian long-range missiles, specifically the \"Flamingo,\" are posing a growing threat to Russia, as evidenced by a successful strike on the Progress rocket and Space Center in Samara. While simpler than Western counterparts, these missiles are cost-effective and powerful. Experts warn that the introduction of ballistic missiles and mass production will further strain Russia's limited air defenses.
