Watermelon Ice Cream for Dogs 🍉 DIY Frozen Watermelon Dog Treat!

Today we are remaking a summer favorite and whipping up some homemade frozen watermelon ice cream for the dogs! Watermelon season is finally here, and after trying this recipe years ago, I wanted to remake it and make it even better, creamier, and fluffier. Kira and Eleanor were right by my side the entire time trying to steal every single ingredient before it even made it into the mixer!

We pureed fresh seedless watermelon, blended it up with Greek yogurt, a touch of whipped cream cheese for that creamy ice cream texture, unsweetened coconut milk, and a pinch of natural beetroot powder for that perfect summer pink color. I used our Ninja Creami to spin it into real scoopable ice cream, but you can also freeze this right in cute silicone treat molds!

Life is short, make memories with your dogs! Always remember that treats like this are meant for fun and enrichment, not as a full meal replacement, so always feed your pets responsibly.

WATERMELON ICE CREAM INGREDIENTS
1 cup fresh seedless watermelon (pureed)
32 oz plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 teaspoon beetroot powder (optional, for natural color)
1 drop dog-safe red food coloring (optional)
