I Was Wrong About Cream Suits
I almost didn't make this suit. Turns out it became one of my favorite pieces I own.
On paper, cream is a hard sell. It stains easily, it's tougher to wear than navy, and most guys assume you'll only pull it out once or twice a year for a wedding.
None of that turned out to be true.
The story starts at Pitti Uomo in Florence, where I debuted my first cream suit in linen. I had no idea how people would react and turns out, they loved it. But what really convinced me wasn't the attention. It was how the suit felt to wear: comfortable, confident, cool (literally and figuratively).
When it clicked, cream wasn't some precious once-a-year suit. It's just a neutral. And like any good neutral, it works with almost everything: blues, browns, olive, pink, even black.
