Using a combination of eyeshadows, eyeliner, and mascara, she shows how to create definition and lift for older eyes, finishing the look with coordinating cool-toned lipstick and blush to enhance the model's natural features.
Hello my name is Sally from Look Fabulous Forever and today I'm going to show you an eye makeup look
for hazely green eyes on my lovely model Barbara. I've already applied the Smooth Out Eye Prime
and I'm going to now apply some eyeshadow and I think if you've not tried Soft Purples and Plums
and Lilacs it can look really good, particularly as Barbara has got greeny hazel eyes. This is a
lovely combination so I'm going to use our Soft Trio No Shimmer Eyeshades in Soft Purples today.
The first shade I'm going to use all over Barbara's eyes is our lightest shade which is Lilac Mist
which is a really lovely gentle shade. I'm going to apply it with our eyeshadow brush number seven.
It's a really lovely gentle shade but it just creates a superb base for the Soft Purple Trio.
The second colour I'm going to use on Barbara is the middle one which is Pewter Grey which is a
beautiful shade. It's a grey that's got a hint of purple in it so I'm going to use that with a
smaller brush number nine to create a little bit of shape and definition in Barbara's sort of socket
line area. I'm just going to pop the cotton pad here just to protect the eye from any spillage
at this stage which can be useful for you to do as well. I'm sort of doing like a windscreen
wiper motion. It's just a very slightly darker tone than the Lilac Mist but that's the beauty
of the trios, they all tone together and work together. So the Pewter Grey, this colour, would
also look good all over as a wash of colour. If you just wanted one colour you could just use this
and it looks fantastic with hazel greeny colour eyes. Using this brush just allows you to be
really precise when you're putting a slightly darker colour on and then you can go back and
blend with the first brush number seven. What I'm going to do now is just to blend any harsh
lines that we might have with our brush number seven, the first brush that we used to put the
Lilac Mist on. It's a lovely soft fluffy blender brush, it just takes out any harsh lines. The
darker the colour you use the more you need to blend and if you've got lovely hazel green eyes,
soft eyeliner in soft purple is a fantastic colour. So this is going to really complement
the soft purple trio that we're using as well. These eyeliners are so super soft that they are
just brilliant on older eyes and I'm just putting it from the very last eyelash,
little sort of short strokes, making it slightly wider and slightly lifted at that last eyelash,
just to lift everything. It's quite a lovely pretty colour, will just make Barbara's lashes
look thicker and just define her eyes. I'm going to use our third, the darkest colour in the trio
which is called Aubergine and I'm going to use that just to set the top eyeliner, just to soften
it a little bit and set it. You can use it if you don't want to use eyeliner, you can just use this
product on its own with our lovely wedge brush number eight. So this will, as I said, set it
beautifully and just smudge it a little bit and it's a lovely complementary shade to the soft
purple eyeliner. Again to finish off eyes when you've done your eyeshadow, framing the eyelashes
using Live Lash Mascara. I'm going to use Black Waterproof today on Barbara and that will really
finish the look. I'm using the black mascara because the contrast between the black and the purples
that we've used will really make Barbara's green eyes pop and stand out. Barbara has actually got
most beautiful dark lashes anyway but just a little bit of mascara and the mascara is lovely
because it's filament free so it's not spiky and it won't go bitty or hard so your lashes will remain
really soft and pliable but just a little bit darker and more enhanced. If you've got eyeliner
on you might not want to put any on the bottom but quite nice and this is the waterproof one so it
won't budge. So we have now finished the eye makeup look on Barbara. Thank you so much for being such
a lovely model. Hopefully you can see that the purples, the soft purples and the soft purple
eyeliner have really really complemented Barbara's hazily green eyes and we've also done now some
lipstick and some blusher and I've used again lovely cool tones, I've used Very Berry lipstick
which also has complemented her beautiful eye makeup look and her beautiful eyes. So I hope
you found this inspirational, I hope it helps you and enjoy using your makeup. Thank you so much for
watching. Bye bye!
