I gotta say this man kudos to bob myers He is head of harris blitz blitzer sports and entertainment And ever since bob myers the architect of the golden state warriors dynasty The 76ers are playing in a different lane They don't even look like the old process, you know, the old elton brand process Hey, we're gonna tank For five years and absolutely go through the process and you know what the process has gotten them so far They can't get out of the opening round of the nba playoffs That's what the process has led them to And now you put a guy who knows what he's doing They are just operating in a completely different lane You go out and you end up moving that paul george contract Which I said was one of the biggest albatrosses that that 76er franchise had you moved off of the pathetic general manager And daryl morey you hire bob myers And somehow myers is ending up doing this. He goes he gets jalen brown Adds him to the 76ers starting five then A month later, he turns around and he gets lebron james in the building dude The hiring of bob myers by josh harris the owner kudos to that dude I know bob pretty well And when he was there in golden state It was cool because you know what really and who helped him a lot In navigating through the waters there when he was running the golden state warriors, of course It was the logo himself. Jerry west. Jerry west was a consultant in that organization And well, they were building that thing up myers was learning from one of the greatest if not the greatest executive slash player in nba history and jerry west Dude, you know what the biggest significant move they made was A non-move, you know what that was there was talk of them even early on in steph curry's career That they were gonna move steph curry. You know what? Jerry west said are you crazy? And bob myers said you're right and they turned around and they went on to win four nba championships With steph I mean look Myers has gone in there and already he's already wielded his magic The 76ers are in a different lane. They just made a recent move also Adding a little more depth to their basketball team that doesn't even look Like what they've done with elton brand and with daryl morey It's a they're operating completely in a different lane and it looks like bob myers has been without a doubt Rejuvenated in running a basketball team and trying to get another championship. Hey, i'll make this point to you, too Lebron getting another championship. That's cool about bob myers going to philadelphia And him end up getting himself an nba championship In another championship Wow, hey, man That guy is one great team executive and it shows already since he's taken the reins there in philadelphia
