Bengals and Ravens this week, the biggest line movement of the week, it
was Ravens minus two most of the week, then it flipped to about even,
then it went to Bengals minus one, and that was the indication Friday
that there's no chance the Ravens are a dog at all on a Friday
if Lamar Jackson's going to play, and indeed he is out.
So it would appear that Lamar's either hurt more than has
been indicated or going into the final year of his contract, Lamar
Jackson's just like, I'm not going back on the field until I'm healthy.
Can't blame him. Doesn't have a new contract, that's the deal.
so Cincinnati is two and a half point favorites it's up
to three in some spots I have a feeling
by kickoff going to be a little higher you know the Ravens
when all things are right they're one
of the best teams in the NFL
but Joe doesn't like me ripping Tyler Huntley but you know just the
reality of the situation I mean Joe it's just
the reality of the situation is look I suppose if Josh
Allen was out and whoever their backup
is in Buffalo you guys would have to tell me I don't
even know but whoever his backup is okay kyle allen right
so so going from josh allen to kyle
allen is significant but this is right up there joe like
for me like i like i think that philly's
backup could hang and brissette is a backup
but he's hanging and keenum can hang i i can't take
baltimore today i know what the line is and i know
these division games are always tight i can't do
it it's either bengals or nothing
for me today i just think it's amusing that you keep piling on
to tyler huntley and we all know it's already bad it's
the meme of you know the simpsons bully
saying stop stop he's already dead
and craig mitchell's continually is just just pounding away on
of your few it's it's like christmas story where ralphie's just
on the bully and the mom's got to
pull him off and i'm gonna have to be the mom in this case
and pull you off of the redheaded kid
who's bullied you and it's okay Craig, it's okay come
on we'll go home we'll have some more milk
and you'll be fine let's talk about this game here
because you're right the division games
are always strange and unusual and we've seen that time
and time again and i'm sure both these teams
are up and ready for this game you've
also got some questions on the Bengals side too Chase Brown
has not been great this year he
was a slow start last year too it really wasn't the last eight
weeks of the season where Chase Brown really turned things
on can he do it again or are we
back to the Joe Burrow show that's gonna
be a fascinating headline in this game to watch and
narrative as you continue to see what Chase Brown is in 2026
because so far it's been underwhelming
as you're right you despite the fact we have Zay Flowers healthy
and Jacoby Lane healthy and Derrick
Henry healthy you have a deficit at the quarterback position can
the Ravens find a way to continue to
put up points in this game i think they can
and i still as this continues to get bet down
i become more and more interesting where it lands
because if it starts to land at 44 and a half or
somewhere like that i think i would still take the over
because i think the Bengals on their own
are good for a good chunk of points
in there you could see them even get to a 30 potentially in
this game so can the Ravens at least hang
and match something in terms of offense I think they
can and I don't think there's gonna be any quit
in this game here they know the magnitude of this
game and you can't lose back-to-back division
games here especially you're at home in this one
against the Bengals so I still like the over
and I would wait as long as I can whatever lowest
number I can before I jump on yeah by the way most
of the sort of like insiders and like hot
But in discussions surrounding Jonathan
Taylor has him landing in Cincinnati.
That's the one spot that does seem to make the most sense.
If the Bengals keep winning and then you add him to that offense,
all of a sudden it's a superstar type offense.
