I'll tell you what, usually this time of the year,
people are getting ready for the NBA here,
and I gotta, or they're getting ready for the NFL,
not the NBA here, and all of a sudden,
we're getting all of this news going on
with the National Basketball Association,
and I gotta tell you, here he is.
I'm gonna start calling him Nostradamus.
He is J-Y, and J-Y joins us now here.
LBJ to the Sixers, dude.
Here he is, the guy who picked it,
and the man who ended up, you know,
he said it, this would happen,
and J-Y, before we do this, I wanna show people the clip.
This was about maybe three and a half weeks ago,
and here's J-Y talking about LeBron to the Sixers.
Listen to this.
Think it's gonna be Philadelphia?
Do you think it's Cleveland,
or do you potentially think it could be
the Miami Heat with Pat Riley?
To me, if he wants legacy,
and I think LeBron's a legacy guy,
I think he's gotta go to Philly.
I mean, now listen, you know better than I do, Big Joe.
It is different.
I mean, geez, they booed Santa Claus,
they cheered Michael Overton when he thought
he was paralyzed, I mean, they are lethal
in the ill of doubt for a reason.
Remember, he's been four franchises.
He's won championships in every single one.
I don't think going back to Cleveland does it, right?
He's already done it in Miami.
You go to Philadelphia, iconic franchises,
hasn't won in over, you know, almost 50 years,
40-some-odd years?
Okay, and here he is, Mr. Nostradamus himself.
J-Y, you called it, dude.
Hey, listen, Big Joe, first off,
you know, usually I wouldn't wanna come on,
but J-Y's at the beach.
But if I gotta get 20 minutes,
I'm giving my guy Big Sills a little bit of my time.
Sills, I may take what I said.
I thought about LeBron, it was on his legacy.
Running it back in Cleveland didn't do it for me.
Miami, I don't think they were a championship team,
and plus, he's already won rings in Miami, right?
He wanted to go to the East.
Once the Warriors thing,
and they couldn't get Anthony Davis,
I thought that kind of eliminated that.
So I kept looking at it as being Philadelphia,
a team that hasn't won a championship since 83,
noticed, went to the finals since 01 in Allen Iverson,
and you step into a roster,
and here's the other thing with LeBron.
LeBron wants to go somewhere
where he knows he can win, right?
He looks at Philadelphia with that starting line,
a mess of Etchco, of Jalen Brown, right?
Of himself now, with Joel Embiid,
Dean Wade off the bench, Anthony Simons off the bench.
He just got KCP to get a buyout
from his contract to go there as well.
The stars were aligned for LeBron,
but here's what I will preface this.
Big Sills, you know Philadelphia better than I do.
It's either gonna go really good or really, really bad.
If they win, the GOAT debate could be put to bed possibly.
If they don't win, those Philly fans, you know them.
They'll turn on LeBron really, really quick.
