Dexter Henry Brian Fonseca back with another edition of a New York got game. Hopefully everybody is doing well
The offseason continues to roll along and late last week. We were waiting for this news
We didn't know when it was gonna happen
We were waiting quite some time for this LeBron James announced where he would be
That will be down the I-95 turnpike. He will be playing for the Philadelphia 76ers and
This is a very interesting decision many of us wondered Brian where he would go. Would it be Miami?
Would it be Cleveland Philly was always in the mix could have been Golden State, Minnesota was out there, too
I thought it was coming down to Miami and Cleveland
That was not the case. He chose
Philadelphia and we're gonna discuss how this impacts the Knicks because I think there's a lot of talking. There's been some interesting chatter
I've seen from media outlets content creators
About this, you know
And I think what we want to try to discuss here on this episode is did LeBron James's decision
Totally the last decision of his career
Did that make the Sixers the biggest threat to the Knicks now? There's a couple of ways. I think we can attack this
You know what? We try to answer that overall question and the first one
for me
Is going to be that question, right?
You know, the first thing for me is gonna be
Did this move Brian?
Change the balance of power in Eastern Conference at all whatsoever. I think you still had the Knicks as a favorites
I did before this move
Do you look at this move by LeBron is changing the balance of power or are the defending champs still?
Clearly the team to be even before as you thought before this move
so on an episode of my show
Which is just recorded with my guy Sean Rochester who's in Philly, um, we did a tier system
Basically in our reaction to LeBron joining the Sixers where we put all the Eastern Conference teams in tears
There was a contender tier. There was an if things break right here. There was a can maybe win a playoff series here
Yada, yada yada the contender tier and this is to be clear a contender to win the championship
Yes, okay, and feel free to go check out the episode if you'd like everybody. Um, it's on my youtube channel
We had one team on the contender tier and that was the New York Knicks
Philly led the second tier, which is the if things break right here. We're both kind of like
You still have Joel Embiid?
and
He's still like the ultimate wild card, especially when it comes to postseason basketball for all the offensive talent
And my guy Matt Moore has said yo as a rim protector
He actually grades out pretty well in space as we saw in the playoffs with our eyes
It's an adventure as a rim protector different
But also I wouldn't say that he's a very good defender anymore
Outside can't move the same way right outside of moments here and there
Yeah, so to me the Knicks are still the favorites
I think Philly is a
Potentially big threat because their bench is better and LeBron makes their roster make more sense in a lot of different ways
Wait, are you saying their bench is better than the Knicks bench? No, no better than it better than it was before
Good fair point
Better than what Philly had last year because we were saying they had no bench and now it's like you have LeBaron Phylon
You have Anthony Simons. You have Dambona probably Dean Wade Dean Wade
You know Justin Edwards like so on and so forth
So like the team makes sense
But I have questions about like I just need to see what this looks like. Like how is this gonna gel?
Maybe they start out nine and eight like the like the heaters did you know?
Like I don't feel like this is a a true super team beyond like just the names and the star recognition on the team
But there are a lot of guys like I like all five of these players and they're starting five and bead
LeBron Jalen Brown Tyrese maxi and VJ edge comb individually, and you know, I love maxi and edge comb in particular
but now I was kind of like
Hey this I'm looking forward to the maxi and edge comb era and now it's like LeBron and
Jalen Brown with a chip on the shoulder and then you also have him bead here and there so I have no idea what this
Is gonna look like so I think they're clearly a threat like they have the talent to win the conference
But no one should be favored over the Knicks right now
I even though it's difficult to go back to back and we haven't seen him in a long time
Nobody should be favored over the Knicks today, even though they lost Mitchell Robinson
So I agree with you and and I thought it was interesting the tears you put him in and I feel like they are the poster
Child the Sixers are for the if things break, right, right because there's so many ifs with this
With this is Sixers team where I feel like if you're a Knicks fan, you should still feel good about this team
Being able to be the favorites right and
Potentially defending their crown or at least getting back to the finals. I still think the Knicks have the best team in the east
I think they have the most complete team in the east. I think the playoff experience to Knicks have matters a ton
Now in terms of Philly, here's what I want to say. I
think and I know people are tired of me saying this but I'm gonna say it again the same 2k man and
sometimes people get really enamored with just names being put together and
We should pay attention to the c-word I just used before chemistry that matters with the Knicks the experience also matters for the Knicks
This Philadelphia team does not have that. Yes, their bench is better. I think they are better than they were
At the beginning of free agency for sure without they are better than the team the Knicks swept out of the playoffs now
How much better I don't know now the big question
I think you have to ask yourself with the Sixers team as it relates to the Knicks is this Sixers team a team that is
built to win four rounds of the playoffs in my opinion
No, and I don't trust it because I don't trust Joel Embiid to play certain amount of games
Will he be ready?
and then here's the thing that I think some people want to dance around or not talk about is
LeBron James built to play four rounds of the playoffs to go through and win the way used to he will be
42
This season we act as though this can still happen and just inserting in him in here as a starter
At the four spot is just gonna be like, okay. Well
Nobody also wants to talk about this the fall-off come soon
The fall-off eventually is going to happen and generally when these things happen not saying I know that it'll come soon
But it can come soon and when these things happen, they can come really quick now
Again, Howard house Nick nurse and company managing LeBron's minutes
How does that work can this team get to four hours managing minutes
Yeah, I know can this team get through four rounds of the playoffs and then here's the other fact
I want to add it into why I do not believe the Sixers are
Necessarily the biggest threat to the Knicks. Can we talk about defense? Nobody likes to talk about that. Can we talk about defense?
So this is another concern I have this Sixers team last year
16th in defensive rating so middle-of-the-road in NBA they were literally mid
In terms of defense when it comes to the NBA
You now lost
What I'm not saying you shouldn't have made this move
But you probably lost which was the best defender on the team of Paul George still at the age of 36
Did the Sixers team get better defensively? I would say no, they're not better defensively. Their backcourt is not strong defensively
They do not have to me a player on this team
The Knicks could say they probably have to even after losing Mitchell Robinson
You say OG and they'll be Miquel Bridges if he plays substantial can be that Jalen Brown
Possibly he's not the one for me. It's like well, it's actually edge comb. Um
But you see do you see that happening this year that's the thing like yeah happening in year two
I don't think so like and he might be the dude
That takes the toughest assignment because now he see I don't
Personally just as a basketball consumer. I don't like this trade for Vijay
I know they're gonna win game or his development like that, right?
I I wanted the ball in his hands more and now he's the fifth option
Now it'll be third when LeBron and Joel Embiid sit games
fourth because I don't know how many LeBron's gonna sit and
Defensively, he's the one that you're banking on having the most upside out of everybody there because I mean
We kind of know what everybody else is on this team at this point. Um
Defensively, I have concerns. I think
The Adam Bona Dean Wade minutes are gonna be very important defensively
Whenever they play because those are two of your better defenders and they come off the bench
One of them will start I assume when Embiid's not there and they actually are going to have some interesting small ball lineups
When Embiid is not there and when it's like play a little bit of small ball five, right?
And so could LeBron offensively at the very least so like that's probably like it wouldn't surprise me if their best lineup
is going to be without Embiid in the regular season and regular season just because of what you can have in terms of potency and
Maybe defensive balance when he's not there. I've even I even asked somebody yesterday
I'm like, are you at the stage where you will consider bringing Joel Embiid off the bench?
just to make the staggering and the defense make a little bit more sense and having him just get like
24 minutes a game drop 20 and 6 and then come out
But I don't think we're at that stage yet
If he falls if he falls off a cliff then that's something that I think will be talked about but it's weird
It's like we've seen teams like this before
It's a some extent where have they have all this name recognition, but there's like there's like aging there that you're concerned about
It's not the case with Maxie and Jalen Brown or VJ edge comb
But I still I still feel like you're relying a little bit too much on the two old guys on the team
Yep, and I've seen I just saw LeBron last year be the best player in a playoff series
I did see that against Houston. I saw that but
That should be talked about with a caveat. That was a good matchup for the Lakers against a struggling offensive Houston Rockets team and
But what I was gonna say is he's I don't think he's gonna do that
If he has to do that four times, then that's a problem. That's a problem. I don't think he's gonna yeah
I don't think I don't think that's it. Listen, they're not the team if I if I'm the Knicks personally
They're not the team that I'm the most worried about
I do I I agree. I'm not overlooking them to be great
I think I think the East I think the East is loaded and I think you could be concerned about ten teams knees
No, they're not even a hype
But they wouldn't be the highest team of your list that you're most concerned about
I I would I think they have a lot of variance though
like there's a ceiling where this can be awesome, I just
The steps it would take to get there and health. It's just it's it feels like a lot
I think you're banking on a lot here. I agree with you. I
Necessarily wouldn't do that
You kind of went where I wanted to go was like are they them?
Are they the Knicks most dangerous opponent and we both think no
Because I think age I just think close though close
I would I think Indiana could be more dangerous. Yes, then the Sixers. That might be the one for me
I yeah, I think that might be the Knicks more dangerous. I think Cleveland is still more dangerous
The choice is for me Detroit for me
Also, I just trust those teams and where they are in their age their playoff experience
Someone like Cleveland's been to a conference finals
The Pacers have been to a finals. I think that matters more and those teams have been together longer
I think we gloss not me, but I think there's a glossing over sometimes is that you can just put guys together and
If they haven't had the experience and not talk about the health and just do that because you got names
Again, you're not playing 2k with injuries off and no fatigue
This isn't that and so when I look at that
There's a lot of question marks and I think a lot of things
Hey, we don't want to talk about the fact that LeBron James is going to be 42 years old this season
Like I think that
so
Indy is up there for I I'm not ranking them. I'm just naming them for now
Although Indy like I don't want to over over
Like over excite myself about like the old Tyrese Halliburton is coming back and he'll be awesome right away because it is an Achilles at
the end of the day, but if
He's just really good again
like 85% of what he was the team just makes a lot of sense and you added zoo bots now who I think is
I don't know if much better is unfair but better than miles Turner upgrade over monster like you're considerably, right?
Detroit who adds in John Collins for Tobias Harris essentially makes more sense
They add Isaiah Joe who's a really good shooter. They have to figure out Jalen Duran. We'll see if they get somebody else
I still think that they're gonna trade for somebody at some point
Um, but there we know we know what they can do and they Isaiah Stewart who they lost
It's like kind of like whatever but he was unplayable at the end. Anyway, like they're gonna be good again
I don't know if they'll be the one seat again
I don't know if they care to be the one seat again, but they'll be good again, Cleveland
You mentioned Toronto if they get kawaii, um
We'll see what happens there. It's a big if and if he can play
It'll be good. They'll be really good defensively. I trust them defensively more than I do the Sixers
offensively
they're better than we're last year, but I
Don't know if they're elite enough, but I'll say that I feel similarly about Miami
who
There are shot creation questions there, but the shooting quietly might be better there than
Maybe I
I'm gonna say this right now
You like Miami more than I do the Sixers
organizationally, yes
Organizationally, just there's more that's been there together
And I think there's actually I think shootings even though I had questions about Miami shooting. I don't love it
I think it's better than the Sixers right now
And so I'm I trust them a little bit more than I do the six now
I think Philly for now for now today has a higher ceiling
Then yeah, I don't I wouldn't disagree with that. It all comes together. There's a big I
Trust the floor of Miami more than Philly because that's fair what that organization does with stars and Janice and BAM
And I think that's fair. Yeah, let me ask you this
Who do you think has the better starting five right now the Knicks of the Sixers?
It's still the Knicks right now I agree because like I care about the chemistry
I need I need to see the chemistry from Philly like I need to see it and I
Feel like with them bead who hasn't played 40 games in a regular season in about four years at this point
like
How could I actually say Philadelphia if and beads gonna be there half the time?
LeBron is 22 games last year. I think if I'm not mistaken
so
Like theoretically the theory the better theoretical starting five like the better 2k starting five will probably be the one in Philadelphia
But in real life where chemistry matters, and I just saw this team win a championship
I'm not taking an Easter Conference starting five today over the next one. Yeah, I'm not they have the cohesive
They have chemistry. They know how to win in a variety of ways
We've already seen from the Knicks. So for me, it's not it's not even close
I
Think a lot. I think a lot of people gonna say Brunson best player on the floor
Fine talk completely fine with that. This is a man who just recently came off winning a finals MVP
Yep, I've seen him produce big time in the playoffs
I've seen him be able to play off of cat as the hub of the offense
See identity is nothing that matters the teams we mentioned above them. They know who they are
The Knicks damn well know who they are. We have no idea who the Sixers are
We have an idea of what we think they can be my idea what you think
They're starting five can be if healthy if the Knicks I've seen this team do it
I've seen this team go through deep playoff runs
I've seen them get to the top of the mountain literally at the top of the mountain and I'm sorry
I just think honestly you go position through position. I
Trust the Knicks to win the majority of these matchups if if the starting five versus starting five
I trust the Knicks to win the majority of these matchups here and I've seen them do it in the playoffs
Against this team, but yes now they added Jalen Brown. Yes. They're adding LeBron, but I mean like even LeBron
OG OG and it'll be versus LeBron. Are you taking that a matchup? I'm taking OG guys
Today I'm taking OG
even though LeBron average like
2176 um and
Like offensively. Yes, I would probably take LeBron from from an offensive standpoint just overall
But like as a two-way player correct if you're if you're encompassing everything that goes into basketball right now
No, like it's it's OG today. I just also like better what the Knicks can throw at them defensively
Most of the time yes team
We saw we saw Mikhail Bridges put Tyrese maxi in the torture chamber in the second round now
Maxi will have a little bit better offensive weapons hopefully around them to play with this time
But the fact that the Knicks boasts to elite defensive wings in OG and Inouye and
Mikhail Bridges and we know Josh Hart when he played the level of defense that he can is good
I the Knicks just to me a better a better two-way and the bench
It's not it's not Mitchell Robinson anymore, but the bell is tested and you're still good and I know you have Andre Drummond which
You know you
Know from last year. You did a drumming for a porty trade essentially between the two teams, which I
Don't know. Is that a wash?
Drumming, right? I don't know. I don't know what that is
Like I just I don't know what that is
But it is that the area Brian because I'm glad you brought up the bench, right? Philly's got the star power
In terms of name, I just want to be very clear
but I think the Knicks do possess advantages in multiple areas some of what is which I just mentioned and
One that you just mentioned in the in the bench
You know, I think the reserve depth. I think having defined roles. I think knowing who's dependable. I think that stuff matters
Do you look at the bench as the area where the Knicks can exploit the Sixers the most?
probably because
Again with Philly the the entire thing the whole thing is theoretical like the whole thing
It's just like yo, their ceiling is and I don't know if you saw the odds
They're bet up to like now the favorites in the East are like this is Knicks barely barely ahead of the Sixers
It was like plus 330 plus 350 because because the casuals do the the thing of like, oh they got LeBron
Bet him and it's like now see I agree not do that and I don't think it should be that close
Then if I'm being completely honest, I don't think it should be that close. I don't really should be second
I don't know that I agree with you. I don't think so, but sorry
I don't want to hijack your answer because you were talking about the no, but the point of it Philly's bench is better
but I guess here's better than it was before you're right not better than the Knicks but I
Still need to see it
Right, like the whole thing with them is like if can be and we've done this with this organization a bunch now
This is more talent than they've had
But the major question here is how is this all going to gel because as we've seen the chemistry matters like we've seen Kevin
Durant Devin Booker and
Bradley Beale
Absolutely flame out despite having a ton of star power on the team, you know
Let's remember what Bradley Beale was at the time
We saw it with Giannis and Dame even though it wasn't their fault and the rest of the team was kind of ass
Comparatively, but like we've seen we've seen these things before like I've watched the old four Lakers
I watched the 2012 Lakers or whichever Lakers team that was with Steve Nash and Dwight Howard and Colby and Powell and yeah
yeah, Mike Brown's like the team, um, like we've seen these things before and
Here locally we saw the Nets now
There were other reasons for that
But Kevin Durant Kyrie Irving James Harden these things tend to follow Kevin Durant around apparently Kevin Durant last year even with Houston
I don't know. I don't know if I'd call that a super team. So I don't know
I think I just think that with with the way this goes with these guys like
The Knicks are proven to me and with Philly. It's like their ceiling is very high
potentially, but
I'm banking on a lot that I don't know if it makes total sense yet. Whereas if I have Indiana
I'm putting Tyrese Halliburton right back where he was two years ago and
Maybe it's it's just the same if not better with Detroit
It's like I know this is a young team that now is gonna make a little bit more sense this season
Maybe it gets better like just small tweaks and then with Miami
It's like I know what they do in terms of building around stars
They've wanted Giannis for a long time Giannis and BAM like it may seem clunky to people offensively
But they have their exposure
They'll probably figure it out and then I'm looking up and down the line that like other potential
Challengers Cleveland is gonna mostly run it back and they were a team that was very good last year and maybe they're better this year
Like they just got Mario Sonia, which is funny, but he's been killing it. What's Nick? Yes. He was the
Spanish
Liga and dessa ACB MVP last year, you know what I mean? Like maybe that's something I don't know
But like these teams just all make a lot of sense today, Toronto, Atlanta
Charlotte Orlando like the Knicks obviously
Boston even without
Without without Jalen Brown, yeah, like all these teams make sense Philly
It might but they have the most variance. It feels like which tends to be the case with this organization
yeah, it does and like for me, I think you know, and I have one more thing before we wrap up because
For me the bench going to I just think the Knicks bench is also proven with guys like a Landry Shamit
That played big-time minutes. I know Deuce McBride did not
Play well in the finals, but he cooked against Philly. We saw that last year
Jose Alvarado the Knicks bench again is to your point is tried and proven and they've got guys with winning pedigrees
There I do like some of the moves that the Sixers made for their bench. I do like picking up Anthony Simons day
I love that one. I love it will get contagious Caldwell Pope
In a buyout from the Grizzlies. He was not real sign. We expected to sign with them
Yeah, so they're trying to get some I see what they're trying to do
I long could be good right mean weight is team weight is a good defense like a damn boner
You and I like
Right, but my thing is we got all that has to come together
And sometimes we've seen this with these teams where it takes a year and again your front court
The your four-year five you have an aging superstar who we have no idea
if and when the cliff is right around the corner for him and
a
Center a big man who can't stay on the floor and the last time we saw him was getting cooked by Jalen Brunson and picking
Rolls and Mitchell Robinson had an iconic poster dunk over him. So I think all these things matter
I think the bench matters a lot. I think the Knicks still the edge there
I like the Knicks starting five better. So I guess this all comes down to this because we asked a question, right?
of this episode which is did LeBron James make the 76ers the Knicks biggest threat and
You and I do not seem to feel that way
But if we're gonna give a final verdict on this Brian if the Knicks and Sixers play a playoff series today
Who wins who you taking and how many games and what do you think is the single deciding matchup?
That would determine this series. I would say Nixon six, which
Last last time I said that it was Nixon five. Oh
So take that for what it's worth I
Just think that I just think that there's just too much they can do offensively to this frontcourt
Defensively and to the backcourt, which you know, it's not
It's not Mookie Blaylock and Tony Allen back there. You know what I mean? Like
You with the throwback lockdown back or reference, even though they'd never played together. I ever played together
But just a good defensive point guard another good defensive to guard. Yeah
Yeah, like it's just not it's just not what it is. So I mean
It's cat gonna have every pick-and-pop opportunity he wants
Who's gonna stop? Oh gee when he's cutting what's gonna happen when Jalen Brunson gets a switch on?
anybody
Other than VJ edge comb potentially and even him like I just think you have way too many answers and I think
Talent wise I'll give Philly a game
To at most
I would say probably say to like one of them talent
Just this is really like it comes together and in the other game, you know, you have the Knicks just mess around game, which
it stopped happening for a while and then happened again, although there were
Circumstances for that during the NBA Finals. Do you do you think there's anything?
Between October and April the regular season that would change the answer for you that you just get
Injuries is the number one thing right now could be either way, right?
Yes
Because for Philly it's like obvious and then for the Knicks, you know, I've said it already but four straight deep playoff runs
It's hard to sustain
And be continue to be healthy like part of why you absolutely had to win the title last year
Because the stars align not in terms of not just in terms of your play
But also your health you had to win it last year because you just don't know when that opportunity is gonna present us present itself
Um, so I think other than injuries though
It would really be just like if Philly gets off to a fast regular season start
And I tend to not overweight the regular season especially early but that that'll show me like, okay
Maybe the chemistry is actually there
But it indeed is like the ultimate swing piece like he's again one of the most important players in the NBA this year
He is good enough to determine like a lot of this
Whether he plays or not consistently and we have not seen him crack 40 games in any of the last three seasons in the regular
Season, uh, it's like we just haven't seen it like he misses literally half the year if not more
Each of the last three years and he will be 33. I think this coming, right?
That's right, which for him might as well be 40 because of what his body has been put through and missed a game
Last year in that series
Against the Knicks and was never the same after that wasn't the same after that and was complete barbecue chicken for Jalen Brunson
Any time you saw yeah, the conference finals has been a conference finals and you could argue
Sixes fans that won't want to hear this you guys worst contract in the league because of his lack of availability
Now you can talk about the talent, but I think it's very clear
He's not what he was defensively. He can still give you things offensively if he can't play
We've seen that in spurts, but can you do that in the playoffs when you have to play every other night?
That's it. That's the big thing for me here
So with all that being said if the Knicks were to play the Sixers in a playoff series today
Right now so I got to go with the mantra, you know what the mantra everybody's been saying all summer Nixon five
Nixon five I have to go with that. I can't say otherwise with that
Look, I just for all the reasons we mentioned I will not belabor them
I just think that the single for me the single deciding matchup if you want to say it in this is
experience chemistry
And I think the Knicks have the best player on the court
Brunson that I'm gonna trust and they just have better two-way players up and down the roster
So I'm going with the Knicks now. Yes. I'm with you Brian the thing that could change this between October and April
It's health on either side are the Sixers
Healthier than maybe I would expect them to be either Knicks than not as healthy sure that could change things
Do I think because I also don't know how the Sixers are gonna manage things
I
kind of know how Mike Brown is gonna manage things with health and how he's gonna manage guys and manage the roster and experience
Experiment with different things. I think we do know that he even has more of a luxury to do that
Then the Sixers do the Sixers got to figure this out
They got to get this thing right before the playoffs like the Knicks were trying to do last year
But the Knicks still had that ingrained time together with some of those guys. That was year two of that current core
This is now year three of the Knicks for this basic iteration of this team and they know who they are
This is don't know who they are
I'm always gonna take the team that knows who they are that has a championship experience and this is the dope thing for Knicks fans
You can sit and say
My team has got the championship experience and no prayer team doesn't the Knicks used to be that team
Where you had the worst contract in the league where you were trying to add the aging
Superstar and have the ghost of the past come for this guy you the Knicks fans used to experience that that's for Philly now
Next don't have to worry about that here. They have the team that's in their prime
That's got the title experience that knows their identity we spent last year
Asking what the Knicks identity was
That's what they got to do down. I 95 in the city of brotherly love the Knicks don't have to do that
They don't have to live in that world anymore as our good friend Jeff Johnson would say
They don't have to think about those things anymore, right?
And and I think that that is just better
So I think sounds like where answers question did LeBron James make the 76ers the biggest threat to the Knicks. I
Think he made them better. I think the Sixers are better. Are they the biggest threat to the Knicks?
Nah, not my opinion man. I don't think so. No, can I can they can they can be yeah
I was gonna say that sure today a lot can change between now and April
Of course and injuries are a factor of chemistry is a factor on that side
I respect the talent what they're trying to do
But a lot has to happen
We'll see. Yeah. Yeah, and and and talking about the the sort of role reversal here the Sixers now assume
The pressure the need to win the drought
Because remember the Knicks have 43 years Knicks at 53 Sixers at 43
This would be 44 if they don't get it done this year. They haven't made it to the conference finals
since the
Right, I was
Seven six. Thanks for making me feel. Oh
Is the Allen Iverson a year where they got to the final 2001 one game one?
Yeah
I was seven and
Beat the Lakers that one game and that was kind of it like they haven't been to the conference finals since their last finals win
Was the night of my prom today?
The blueprint wouldn't even out yet like this is a long time ago
We didn't get the blueprint or still batik I was either out
No, did that that was all in this the spring some early summer of that year
We didn't even have Jada kisses kiss the game. Goodbye hadn't dropped yet. I think it just leaked
So yes a fun summer for you boy Dexter Henry, but that's a long time ago. Yeah
Yeah, like like WCW was just put out of business. This is a long time ago. So the Sixers the Sixers are gonna be
Figuring out the chemistry they're gonna be fighting ghosts of the past. We'll see. I think there's a ceiling there that is
Contender level like legitimately contender level, but there are just so many ifs in the air
Like I still think they're there their ceiling is very high
But that floor that floor is more rickety than some of the other teams have been talking about like I still trust
I think their ceiling could be second or even best in the east potentially if things really all work out perfectly
But I trust the floor of some of the other teams we mentioned much
Obviously the Knicks and then like Detroit's Indies and Miami's and Boston's potentially even because Boston
I don't know if I trust him in the playoffs
But regular season if Tatum is healthy and can play all the way through like they also have a structure there where it's like, okay
Missoula, you have Mitchell Robinson to me is Cato one of them for 48 minutes all the time
Their Hawaii paint bridge like there are just other things that you you you can trust so Philly's gonna have to make
Believers out of a lot of different people. Yeah, I agree and listen, I think Knicks fans
You know, there's gonna be a lot of talk and I know Knicks fans gonna bring up
The Knicks for clicks industrial complex and things they hear in the national media and and you'll hear it around LeBron
you gotta understand it's always gonna be a big conversation around LeBron and some Knicks fans gonna feel like it's disrespect and
You can feel that way and I don't think that's wrong to feel that way and I think the Knicks will hear that chatter
too if people ever eventually put if they ever get to the point where they're putting this Philly is favorites over them or the
Knicks feel they're suspected and
What I'll say to that's I'm sure the Knicks will use that as motivation
But uh, I still think the Knicks are best team in the East. I think if they play the Sixers
Nixon five is what I'm gonna say
