Massive 1-Story Luxury Homes in Top PHX Neighborhood [Living in Phoenix Arizona]

Today I'm out in Buckeye, Arizona in the most premier community here. This is Verado and I'm in a little section called Regent Hills where one of the top tier builders in the area just opened up their most expensive and largest collection of model homes which I am excited to show you. They are some of the prettiest homes I've seen in a long time. You can get mountain views here. So many things to say about this area, but let's get into that first model home. This Apono floor plan behind me has to be one of my favorite homes I've seen in a long time. It has an attached guest casita, two primary closets, and an enormous kitchen with awesome storage. You are going to get 3,624 square feet, four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, plus a powder room, a three-car garage that is extra deep, and a base price on this one of $1,012,000. Let's go inside. Okay guys, are you ready to be wowed with this model home tour? Because you are going to love it. If you can't afford this home, just come along for the tour. Enjoy the site. Get some ideas for home decor and design. And there's so much to say about this area of Verado, so stick around to the end of the video to learn more about Verado and living in Buckeye. Okay, this front courtyard area is so cute. They have the little water feature over here and some chairs. So this is like a front porch, but more private, which is a great thing if you have especially a long-term guest that lives in this guest casita. We're going to go in there first before we check out the main house. So, you know, just imagine you have a mother-in-law, a family member, somebody who stays here maybe year-round or most of the year. They can come out the front door and really kind of have their own patio in the front. And isn't this beautiful? It's really only missing one thing. I'm going to show you the guest suite. See if you can guess what the one thing missing is. They have the nice views outside of the front of the house. And when you live in this area, just about any way you faced, you get some gorgeous views of the White Tank Mountains. If you're a hiker, lots of gorgeous trails on there. I love this kitchenette here. It has a built-in microwave and a refrigerator. No stove. That's not what I'm talking about that's missing though. This is kind of my preference actually, having a kitchenette in the guest area. I don't know that I want my guests cooking on a real stove. Some people don't like it for safety reasons. But you know what? You can get an air fryer in here, your coffee maker, your blender. And then coming over here, a really pretty full bathroom. First, your toilet room is right over here. You have your sink, a very beautiful shower. They did the tile that covers this entire wall, which I think just really adds to the aesthetic. And then this is kind of genius, having the closet over here. Because these are 12-foot ceilings, lots of storage up towards the ceiling. So you know, put a little step stool in here. Make use of that space above. You have space over here too for some hooks. And then coming back out over here, isn't this pretty? The one thing that is missing, this is the door that goes to the main house, is a washer and dryer. So if you want a guest casita that does have the washer and dryer, reach out because I know which builders are making those. However, if you come right out this door into the main house, we'll come back and we'll see these bedrooms on this side. But I just want to show you, all you have to do is walk down this hall and you come right into the laundry room. So you know, still a pretty private walk down here to get to the laundry room. And this door goes into the primary bathroom, which you are also going to love. Okay, so I just came out of this door that goes to the guest casita. Now let's go through the front door and look at the main house. One of the things that really wowed me about this floor plan is the kitchen. One of the most important rooms for most buyers. So I'm going to take you right to the kitchen and show you what I mean. And welcome home. I've backed up to give you kind of a general look at this floor plan. There's just so many nooks and crannies to show you. There's that front door, not a ton of space used right here by that front door. Behind me are some sliding glass doors with a gorgeous pool outside. But first, let's look at this kitchen. Look at this thing that they did on the ceiling. I have not seen that before. Such a cool touch. And these are really tall ceilings. She said 12 feet, but this feels larger than that. This island is enormous. It has four chairs here, but you could do five. And this is a waterfall island as well. So that's an upgrade. They put top of the line appliances in here. The Wolf appliances, the Sub-Zero refrigerator, lots of storage. You can see they did the two different tones for the cabinet. Natural wood look. A very classy, timeless countertop that they also carried up to be the backsplash, which is a popular choice. Here is that top of the line gas range Wolf brand. This is a pot filler. So if you don't know, you can just pull that out and get water. And you can see here from the kitchen sink, you just have a nice view of everything. There's a sneak peek of those big sliders. You can watch TV, watch the game, watch a movie. Everyone can hang out right here and feel like they are part of the group. And then look at this space over here. So much counter space. So much storage. The pantry is back here, but first here's that enormous Sub-Zero refrigerator. It is cabinet depth, so it doesn't stick out, which I just love. When you open up these refrigerators, you may notice that they don't go quite as deep back, but they are wide enough that you won't have any problem, I don't think, storing all of your cold foods. And if you do, there's plenty of room to find solutions for that over here. Look at what they did right here. Pretty fancy. And then imagine you can do food prep all along here. You can serve food right there. Coming back here. What a great place for your coffee maker. And this essentially is your pantry. So you have open storage here. Easy to get to everything. You also obviously could do, you know, an extra refrigerator or freezer back here. Convenient. By the way, this is where you come in from that huge garage, and I'm going to take you out there in just a little bit. But next, I want to take you to another room that is super important, which is the primary bedroom. This bathroom you are going to fall in love with. You may work overtime just so you can afford this sort of house. It's pretty impressive. And of course, we'll go outside, see the pool and the views. Isn't this a beautiful tile that they put over here on the TV wall? And then such a simple ledge. And they did the undermount lighting. Looks pretty sharp. Okay, so coming in to the primary bedroom. What I love is the ceiling line. You have this arch here. It's just so airy. Look at this light feature right here. Isn't that gorgeous? Sometimes we just stuck in a rut and we pick the basic things, right? But you can get some great ideas. Even if you're not going to be buying a million-dollar-plus home, you can get some design ideas that you can use in your house. Nice big windows bringing in all of that natural light. And then coming over here into your beautiful primary bathroom. I'm telling you, all of the undermount lighting makes such a difference. It's not a huge expense, but it really can elevate the space. So something to keep in mind when you are planning on moving in your new home. Two sinks, a little separation. If you don't want that bench there, maybe you want a vanity or maybe you just want to extend this and have more counter space and cabinets. You can do that. It's nice that they have the windows so that you have good light for all of us who appreciate that when we're getting ready and we want, you know, the natural light to see what we're doing. Freestanding tub. So pretty. And then you have your all-glass shower. The gold knobs are trending right now. A very popular choice. And then you can see you can turn on your water, get it the right temperature, and enjoy a nice luxurious feeling shower back here. It's a pretty roomy toilet room back here. Okay, now let's look at the closets. You get two closets. His and her closets. If you're not a his and her, you just get two closets. One can be for your shoes. One can be for your clothes. However you want to do it. Are you a fashionista? You're gonna have lots of room in here to store everything. They did kind of a cool thing and put like the engineered hardwood on the ceiling. Just closet one. And then as I turn this around, here is closet two. This one has a mirror in the middle. Makes sense. And then on one side, you have storage. And on the other side, you have storage. And then you have that nice handy entrance coming into your laundry room. Okay, coming back out here to the main room, there's a really awesome room back here that I'm excited to show you. This whole floor plan has me excited. Even the flooring, which is an engineered hardwood and is an option. I just love this look. No grout. Just beautiful. And this room back here is just kind of multipurpose. I just think it makes the perfect little workspace slash hangout. So imagine, you know, you can set up your desk over here. You can be working on your computer. You need a little wine break. Just open up the door, grab yourself a glass of wine while you're working here. If you're like me, sometimes, you know, you like a little background noise or, you know, you're taking your lunch break, you can watch a show or something. Your significant other or kids can be in here hanging out with you, too. It's just a great space. Plus, you have these doors over here that go out to the backyard, which is where we're headed next. So you know what? You can make this more of a game or entertaining room as well. You know, coming in, you know, from the pool party or whatever. So here's one of the sliding doors. And then you have more sliding doors covering this whole wall. And they are super tall. This is exactly what you want when you have mountain views like the ones you get here. And let's go outside. So here is the back of the house. You get this huge patio right here. And they went all out on this backyard. I'm going to show you all of the cool things they did. It'll give you ideas when you are planning your backyard. And look at these views. You have your saguaro cacti right here, which is very unique to the Sonoran Desert. First, let's take a look at this swimming pool. Now with this builder, it's one of the few where you can use their pool builder, design your pool and have it wrapped into the mortgage. They did what's called a Baja shelf on this side and that side. So, you know, you can have little chairs out there if you like to just lay in the sun. Your hot tub is right over here. They did a beautiful water feature. And then these could be planters. You know, it's extra seeding as well. Artificial turf for very low maintenance. This beautiful sitting area over here, they did like succulents right here, but you could make this a fire feature. I think that would be very pretty, especially because this is also a water feature. Looks like there's some bees hanging out there today. Next to the patio, they built this pergola for extra shade and a place, you know, to grill up the burgers and the dogs and the steaks and the veggies. So you can come out here. This is going to be the party house. Everyone's going to want to hang out here. If you have kids, if you just have friends that you like inviting over, wouldn't this be the backyard everyone is going to want to come to? And then look at this pergola. It kind of extends out. You have a fire feature right down here. So a couple steps down, people can hang out, enjoy themselves, roast some marshmallows. And coming back inside, I still need to take you down here to show you the secondary bedrooms, which have their own bathrooms. But first let's go in this garage. A lot of times the model homes have the garages locked, but here they wanted to show you how impressive the garage space can actually be. So they did the epoxy flooring. You can see again the undermount lighting, and this is a hangout. Of course, you're going to want to pull your cars in right here. They do have some larger garage options as well, but over here in this extra little storage space, they put a golf simulator out here. And then they did what's called a half split right here. So that is super effective in cooling spaces like this garage space. And it's also an option to have insulation put in these garage walls, which will help, of course, with keeping the temperature down in here. You have your tankless water heater right here. And now let's go see those secondary bedrooms first. Remember this? Remember how beautiful this is? How amazing this kitchen is as I walk through? And if you are thinking that you want to see some model homes, I want to remind you that you need to take a realtor. Hopefully that's me, because the builder is going to want to register you. And when you do that, you waive your right to be represented. And since I get paid by the builder, I'm working for you for free and going to show you all of your options and negotiate the best deal. Here's that powder room right next to the laundry room that you remember connects to the primary bathroom. Turning around, you have a little closet right here. There's that front door for perspective right down there. If you remember, that is the guest casita. And then, like I said, all of these bedrooms have their own bathroom. So wonderful if you're thinking to yourself, but I don't want to clean four and a half bathrooms. Here in Arizona, we hire things out. You are going to hire a cleaner if you don't want to clean four and a half bathrooms. Oh, that's their electronics for this model home, but a nice size closet there. Yeah, people here, you hire your landscapers to do your yard, to clean your house, whatever it is to save you time. And this is a nice cozy bedroom. Isn't this cute how they made this like a floral room for someone whose hobby is flower arranging or whatever your hobby may be? Because this bedroom is just slightly smaller, so it would make a good hobby room. But you can see it does have its own full bathroom. Okay, as we walk over to the next model home, I have to tell you that after that one, I am going to show you a quick move-in home that has an RV garage. This is luxury living at its finest. So if you are an RVer or you just want a huge garage, stick around. This home behind me is the Bontura floor plan. With this one, you are going to get 2,810 square feet, four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a three car garage, and a base price of $823,000. The exterior of this one is more modern with this roofline right here, but just keep in mind that you can get a different exterior look if you want something a little bit more traditional. Also, keep in mind, they have 12 floor plans here. I going into right now happens to be third smallest on their list. Isn't this a pretty entranceway? Now, this one is the sales office, so you're going to see that over here on the right when we walk in where the garage would normally be. Okay, so I've backed up to give you kind of a general look at this floor plan. Lots of unique things to show you. The ceiling height in here is 10 feet, but they do it per plan, so you can get 10 feet, 12 feet, or vaulted ceiling depending on the floor plan, but this is going to be the lowest, and it still feels very spacious. So here we are at the front door, and you're going to have to pretend like this is walled off. Right now, that's a sales office, but that's going to be three car tandem garage, so you'll have a wall here, a nice place to put, you know, like a little entry table and some pictures on the wall. Right here in front, you have this open room, which they have set up as a den, and then next to that, they have this bedroom at the front of the house. It has its own bathroom and the big window in front with the gorgeous views of the White Tank Mountains. You can see it has the standard closet, and let's just peek in this bathroom right here. Very pretty. Okay, and then, so coming down further, this is your half bath, and it is narrow. You could always hinge this door so it comes out the other way. The toilet is right behind here, so you probably are going to want to do that. Change the direction, the way that the door swings. This right here, this circular area, super unique, just gives it a little bit of character and charm. On this side, you have two more bedrooms, and they share this full bathroom right here. You can see they did the tub, but if you want that to be a walk-in shower, of course, you can do that. And this bedroom has a standard closet. This one has a walk-in closet, pretty similar in size, and then you get some extra storage here. All right, let's get into the area most people put at the top of their priority list, this open concept living space, and this is very open, and look at all of the people you can seat at this island. They have three right here. Those are big chairs. You can see you could fit a couple here. I'm thinking you could do probably eight people at this island if you want to. In this one, they did the monogram collection for the appliances. You can see this is still a cabinet-depth refrigerator, which for me, that's just something that I would choose if I had the option. Still a gorgeous gas range right here. They chose a tile backsplash, and of course, you get to pick your own color of cabinets, white, wood tone. In this one, they did one of each, or you might want to choose to buy a quick move-in home or a spec home, same thing, and those are the homes where they already picked everything out. It is ready to go, and they want to sell it, so you're more likely to get, you know, the rate incentive, maybe closing costs covered. We can negotiate some of those things. This could be a huge kitchen table right here if you're someone who has a big family or likes to entertain. They just put in a more standard table, and then you have this extra space for a sitting room. We'll take a look in this primary bedroom in just a second, but first, let me show you what's over here behind this kitchen wall. You have a pantry on this side, you have a beautiful laundry room, and then this is where you're going to come in from that three-car tandem garage. You can see you get some nice storage over here, and you also have a coat closet. This home also has a pool in the backyard like the other model home did, but let's look at the primary bedroom before we go outside and see the back of the house, and again, they did these beautiful vaulted ceilings in the primary bedroom, which I just love that. It feels like such a nice private retreat back here. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a fancy light fixture for your bedroom. Okay, and then coming over here into the primary bathroom, I love the shower that they did. No little steps that you have to step over. You have the pony wall. You could do a towel rack right there if you wanted to. You could do the hooks right here. You could do both. This gorgeous blue tile they did all the way to the ceiling. They put the bench right where it should be, the knobs, a huge area for your shampoos and stuff, plus you have this extra ledge, so props to the builder on the shower design. Here's your toilet room, and then right over here is your primary closet. Now, the other one had two closets, and one of them was pretty much the size of just this one, but like I said, they have 12 different floor plans, so there are lots of different configurations to choose from, and here we are at the back of the house. You can see the nice shaded patio right there, and in this particular neighborhood, this builder has different options in terms of the size of the lot that you get, so if that's important to you, just know they have plenty of lots still available to choose from, and here's just some eye candy for you guys to enjoy. They have the Baja shelf with the chairs on it, so you can see how you use that, the beautiful succulents over here. You can make that a fire feature next to the water feature. That would be gorgeous, and then your outdoor kitchen. There is another builder in Regent Hills, and that is Pulte. They have some more affordable home options, so if you love the idea of living in this area, but it's out of your price range, reach out. Let's find an option that works for you. Real quick, let's put up a map so you can see exactly where we are today. We are in Verrado. This is the part of Buckeye that everyone wants to move to, and for good reason. They have the cutest downtown area main street with little shops. The street coming in and out of Verrado is lined with trees. You have views everywhere of the White Tank Mountains, and so much shopping and entertainment around here. Within 10 minutes, you have the brand new Verrado Marketplace that has every store and restaurant you could want. Target, department stores, and across the freeway from that is a brand new Costco. You know that Costco only goes in where things are happening, so that's a good sign. Of course, I have to mention the newest addition, which is about 20 minutes away, Buc-ee's. It's Arizona's first and only Buc-ee's store. I haven't been there, but people are fanatical about this gas station destination. Behind me here is the Joven floor plan, and this is a quick move-in home, also called a spec home. You can see it has the RV garage. It's great to see a home that is not a model home, that's not highly upgraded, so you see what your money is really getting for you. This exact home that we're going to walk into is priced at $1,200,000. You get 3,281 square feet, four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a three-car garage, which includes that RV garage. Let's go inside and see what you think. As we go in here, let me correct myself. Basically, this is a three-car garage, and then you also get the RV garage. While this is not as upgraded as the model homes, it is still a beautiful home with lots of upgrades you won't find with other builders. I think you're going to be impressed, starting with the pavers. You'll notice the pavers go all the way up to the front door. You may not notice it, but sometimes this is just cement. You also have pavers in the driveway. Coming in, this is just a great floor plan. My voice might be echoey because this is empty. This is a quick move-in home that you can buy right now. You can see the tall ceilings, the light fixture, this beautiful tile, the wood look tile with the grout that matches. Before I show you the beautiful kitchen, let's go back here. There are two bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is something that David Weekly tends to do, is they include the full bathroom with a lot of the bedrooms. This is a walk-in tiled shower, super pretty considering that this is a spec home. This other bedroom over here has a standard size closet, but it also has its own bathroom. This one has the tub, nice tile though, and the cutout. And now let's go take a look at the kitchen because it is pretty. We're going to pass by this open den. We're going to pass by this powder room and little closet into this nice, big, open space right here. And as a quick move-in home, this is just really quite impressive. You'll notice the curvature right here. This is not a waterfall island. Some people like them, some people don't, but I think you can fit more chairs at an island that is more standard like this. They do put independent lights, which a lot of other builders do not include with their spec homes. Kind of a signature thing for David Weekly is to do the different colors of the cabinets. They did the undermount lighting. They pulled the cabinets all the way up to the ceiling. They still put in the upgraded monogram collection of appliances, so you get a really nice gas range, lots of storage. Back here is your pantry. So this is just a great kitchen for entertainers if you have a family. The tall ceilings, it's just all so pretty. I am going to show you a dirt lot yard in the back of the house here in a minute, but let's go check out the primary bedroom first. Coming in here, they have the upgraded carpeting. You still get the vaulted ceilings, which I absolutely love about their primary bedrooms, and this is just spacious. Coming into the bathroom, love this shower. I probably even prefer this one over some of the ones that are in the model homes. You still have nothing to step over. You get the rain showerhead, you get a wand, and look at this. It's like a bench plus a place where you can put all of your products. I just like that. I think that that is very practical. Plenty of space over here, plus you can have your standalone tub, and then right over here you have the toilet room next to your beautiful primary closet. So you have the storage on this side, the mirror as is typical, but what is really cool about this one is that you have the storage right over here, but guess what? It also tucks behind here. Lots of room in here to organize. Okay, before we go outside, I want to show you the garage because that's what's really kind of special about this floor plan is it has the RV garage. So coming over here, you have this enormous laundry room. Tons of space in here. You could easily fit in an extra refrigerator or freezer. This is where your internet connection is going to be, and let's go into that garage. There are a surprising number of builders who do offer RV garages now at different price points, so if you are someone who wants that RV garage, don't hesitate to reach out. I am your local expert. I can give you all of your options, different price points, different areas. Make sure you're really making your money stretch so you can get the most out of it, and this is enormous. Would for sure want to do epoxy in here. It would make it look so much nicer. Light coming in up here. All kinds of room, and then coming back in from that garage, back here, there's one extra bedroom that also has its own bathroom. I don't think we need to go back there and see it. It looks kind of like the other ones. Let's go outside. Here's a look at the back of the house. You can see this is a very large covered patio, and this lot is one of their smaller lots, so again, if you are wanting more space in this, you can get it. You just have to reach out. Make sure we find that special lot for you. Because this is a hilly, mountainous area, you can see some of the fences are taller on one side than the other. That's because the slope of the land is gradually on an increase. Here in this neighborhood, your HOA is going to be $189 a month, and this is a gated community with its own swimming pool. Let's drive over and take a quick look at that. So this is the gorgeous kind of clubhouse area with the swimming pool. They are still working on it. Let's head up there and see what we find. And then turning the camera this way, you do need a key to get in to use the swimming pool, but they have recently filled this pool, and you can see the backdrop of the mountains right there. So pretty. On this side, they're working on creating some nice shaded areas, a huge covered ramada, and some bathrooms. And inside of this beautiful building is a lounge area for just hanging out, games. You can see the beautiful fireplace that they have over here. They will have this done in no time. And lots of shade over here. A beautiful, quiet setting for you to enjoy your life in Arizona. Right in front of me, here is just one of the side entrances into the community.
