I'm Celeste Rodriguez. Today we are touring three properties that are anything but ordinary. See a 17 million dollar paradise valley oasis. A western wonder in cave creek. And how about this? A lakefront retreat in Gilbert. Let's go. Good morning everyone. This morning's cool house brings us to Gilbert, Arizona. Lakefront property that you can play in. This is Marina Capetta. Marina, good morning. Good morning. Thanks for having me. And thank you for having us as well. What a beautiful property. Where are we? What part of town? We are in Playa del Rey estates. We are actually only two miles away from the freeway the 60 and only 20 minutes away from the airport. Great location. And the idea that you can be on a lake and you can play in it, this is fabulous. Yes, this is actually the only house for sale in the entire valley that doesn't only allow water ski but also jet ski, wakeboard, paddleboard, kayak. I mean the whole fun. All right, let's take a look. Awesome, let's go. The front door, hard to miss that you have an elevator in the house. Exactly. You don't see that often. No, you don't. It takes you right upstairs. What do you have upstairs? We have four bedrooms, two bedrooms including the primary, a loft and beautiful views with a balcony. And here in the kitchen there is a lot going on, Marina. Let's start with this huge island. It's perfect for entertaining. Exactly. With the beautiful views and you have a lot of space for entertaining and put food there, four ovens, building espresso machine, wine fridge, building fridge. I mean a lot. The kitchen, you have this great space. It's kind of like a game room. It is actually. You can feed a pool table and then you have the fireplace which is a mantle from a gallery in Las Vegas. On the second floor is this primary bathroom. Exactly right. They completely renovated in 2019. The shower includes nine heads, two vanities with marble countertops and stunning views of the lake. We finished our tour here in the backyard and we didn't have to go far because we're right outside the kitchen. These doors actually automatically open. They do actually and gives you panoramic views that any other house has to offer in the community including views to the beautiful entertainment areas. We have another kitchen over there with a grill, range, fridge and also it's very worth mentioning there is a boathouse with a lift. Yeah perfect for your boat. You can keep right here on your property and then the lake it's right here and you said you can actually paddleboard on this lake. You can. You can water ski, you can jet ski, waveboard, paddleboard, kayak and even the inflatables. Have you seen the hot dogs that people ride in? Yes. You can do that in here as well. That's amazing. I know right. Marina, thank you so much for the tour this morning. Absolutely, thanks for coming. This is one cool house. House brings us to Paradise Valley. This is like your own little sweet oasis. Jen Burgess, good morning. Good to see you. It's a private oasis in PV. This is a beautiful contemporary home. We're listed on the market for 17 million dollars. So when we take a look at this house, it's very warm and inviting. That was important for the architecture to blend contemporary lines with very textural elements like what you see here in the entry natural stone. You'll notice wood floors throughout and then also touches of plaster. All right, let's take a look. Lots of natural light as you walk into the house and different textures that you notice in the kitchen. That was really key because it's such a large space. The designer had an opportunity to really mix with the two different island tops that you see here. And then you see the slab treatment on the backsplash. It's just a beautiful space with natural light. And look at that great skylight. Again, you see the textures, of course, on the backsplash of the stove. And then up ahead, you have that plaster work. It's beautiful. So the whole hood is done in this plaster treatment, which is just real beautiful, almost a tone on tone. And then something little secret. The designer hid the spice racks behind this heavy slab. But look at that. You can open up and put all of your spices back there. And again, Jen, you have that natural light as we make our way into the primary suite. The primary suite is beautiful. It's this peaceful oasis that you can escape to when you're done with your day. You have a gorgeous view out to Camelback Mountain and these beautiful floor to ceiling windows. My goodness. That's my kind of chair, by the way. Right. And my kind of bathroom as we make our way in here. This is one heck of a shower. Oh, my gosh. It's massive. And the slab treatment, again, going all the way up to the ceiling. You have the leased tile for the back and beautiful chrome fixtures. Right around the corner from that bathroom there, this is one of the two closets in the primary. And take a look at this, your own private little safe room. This home clearly for a car aficionado. On this side, this is for your daily use. You know those four vehicles that you use every day? Come follow me into this room. This is for your fancy vehicles, maybe your Lamborghini, your Ferrari. And hey, guess what? We've got space for your RV as well. We finish our tour here in the backyard and you can hear those wonderful fountains coming off that pool. And Jen, you really get a good idea back here of that nearly two acre property. We're on a very generous parcel. That means you can have every amenity within this compound. So you have a sports pavilion right off of your sport court, pickleball court. You have this beautiful grass area for play, seating by the fire pit. And then of course, who wouldn't love to just sit down and look back at this beautiful property while you watch the sunset? So beautiful. And of course, those views of Camelback Mountain are stunning. Well, we always say anytime you can get a view in Arizona, it's just like our ocean view in California. Everyone, this morning's cool house brings us to Cave Creek, Arizona. Beautiful property you have got to see. It is a true Western wonder. This is Joanne Bauer. Joanne, good to see you, my friend. Thank you for having me. Absolutely. What is the acreage you have here? This is on three acres. Stone Ranch is a walled, gated community. It is, as the name suggests, built of stone, five bedrooms, five bathrooms, main residence of about 6,900 square feet, and another 1,600 in the guest house. All right, let's take a look. Large, beautiful fireplace. You have a secret door that takes you into a great room for entertaining with that gorgeous fireplace and a bar. That main living space on the other side, look at this kitchen. And Joanne, this is a great breakfast area. They've done a built-in banquette that overlooks the mountains, a pizza oven, this hand-forged Mexican chandelier, custom alder cabinetry, and then this beautifully brick-framed wolf stove and the hand-painted Spanish tiles. Oh, it is so gorgeous. Here we are in the primary suite, one of how many fireplaces? This is one of five in the interior, and the wood-beam ceilings, just the ode to the Old West. There's a nod to that in every room. Even the primary bathroom is gorgeous. I love the fact that you have that gorgeous big tub overlooking the views, and that fireplace, again, just brings that ambiance in. Absolutely. This is where you could finish off an evening down these stairs. What is this space? We are calling this the subterranean speakeasy. It would be ideal for a wine cellar. It would be ideal for a collector's room, but it's got the stone walls, the arches, and it's just a place to kind of come in and cozy up. You know you're in Cape Creek when you got a horse in your backyard. This is such a great piece of artwork. Isn't it fun? And this whole backyard is based on fun and adventure. We've got a negative-edge pool, a swim-up bar, the spa. There's multiple fireplaces. This is truly outdoor oasis living. It is so wonderful. And then the views, all of the property that you have in the back. Absolutely. While you're on three acres here, what's really amazing is you border three million acres of protected state land, and that includes 900 miles of horseback riding trails and hiking trails.
