Russia struggles to put out massive Wildberries warehouse fire - helicopters join firefighting

Firefighting efforts continue at the Wildberries logistics center in Russia’s Krasnodar region, which was set ablaze following a Ukrainian drone strike. New footage shows a firefighting helicopter dumping water on the burning warehouse as emergency crews battle the blaze. According to regional authorities, more than 105 personnel, 37 pieces of equipment, and a helicopter have been deployed to contain the fire.
Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on terrorism charges following the Ukrainian drone attacks on Wildberries facilities in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol region.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the targeted logistics centers were involved in supplying the Russian military with drone components, navigation equipment, and other military gear.
The attacks were confirmed by Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim and Russian regional authorities. Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said 10 people were injured in the strike on the Krasnodar warehouse complex. A separate Wildberries sorting center in Nevinnomyssk also caught fire after the attack. Authorities in Stavropol reported five people were injured, one of whom was hospitalized. Governor Vladimir Vladimirov said a helicopter was also deployed to help extinguish the blaze. Several Wildberries warehouses have been hit across Russian cities over the past few days.
