Well, looking up to the Bay Area sky today, you may have noticed some clouds
kind of moving in kind of an interesting cloud pattern setting up all linked up
with an overall change in the weather pattern. In fact, we're talking about
to some tropical moisture working its way back into the region. Highs from
this afternoon, some cool conditions coastside San Francisco 62 warmest
locations inland close to 90 degrees out toward Concord and Antioch and
there's San Jose in the upper seventies, 77 degrees. Now the changes
are all linked up to this. This is tropical storm Alita and this is the
forecast track as it moves up to the north. This is not expected to become a
hurricane, but this will weaken along the path as it makes it kind of jogs up
to the north and some of that moisture will impact the barrier forecast. So in
general, Monday through Wednesday, we're gonna have more clouds out there,
partly to mostly cloudy skies, the slight chance of a few showers here
Monday and then later Tuesday and into Wednesday across the Bay Area. And with
this instability that could lead to an isolated thunderstorm in the slight
chance of some lightning out there. So it's kind of a general broad brush
forecast in terms of Monday through Wednesday. We're probably just noticed
the typical high clouds could feel a bit humid, a bit muggy out there and
we'll have to keep an eye on the radar updates to see if these showers do
would develop. It looks like the main action in terms of this, this tropical
storm remains out in the pacific as you can see right now, but already the high
clouds streaming into the Bay Area. There is some green showing up on the
radar and the key concern is if we have an elevated up, if we have some
thunderstorm out there with just just dry lightning and that could lead to
with some fire starts. So right now, no red flag warning posted for us locally,
but it's something we'll definitely have to keep an eye on for Monday,
Tuesday and into Wednesday. So in addition to the fog out toward the
coastline, we have the high clouds streaming into the Bay Area. Current
numbers out there, you can see Livermore 79 Monterey 62 San Francisco
has cooled off to 60 and Santa Rosa, the Sonoma County Airport reporting 73
degrees. Here's a live camera looking out toward the Golden Gate Bridge and
we have the typical low clouds and fog out toward the gate right now. So once
again, the fog will push back into the bay overnight. We'll bring in more
clouds and the slight chance of a few sprinkles out there. Temperatures in
the upper fifties to right around 60 degrees and once again for tomorrow
could feel a bit humid, a bit muggy, not only for tomorrow, but in a Tuesday
and into Wednesday is that tropical moisture moves in from the south. Here
we go tomorrow morning. Lots of cloud cover by way. By the way, this is one
forecast model. It's really hard to pinpoint the shower chances out there,
but it definitely does bring in the cloud cover tomorrow morning. Then a
sun cloud mix later in the day. You'll notice out toward the Sierra, we could
have some showers and thunderstorms flaring up by Tuesday afternoon. This is
Tuesday. Once again, it's not to show a lot of a shower coverage for us, but
does not take much as we have that instability that could boost the shower
potential across the region and that thunderstorm threat at least a slight
chance over the next 2 to 3 days. So highest for tomorrow. Still warm
inland, still in the upper eighties, close to 90 degrees. Oakland 71 Morgan
Hill in the upper eighties in San Francisco, 68 degrees, some clouds in
the morning, becoming partly sunny into the afternoon hours. We will warm
things up on Tuesday, so it could feel a bit sticky out there as that moisture
kind of remains in place. And once again, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
will keep an eye. That's a slight chance of a shower. And then by
Thursday, partly sunny skies, fair skies, looks like a quiet weather
pattern, but still fairly warm inland for the upcoming weekend.
