Hello friends, welcome to day 194 of betting $100 every day for a year.
Small step back yesterday, 1-1-1, the Wings-Liberty game got postponed.
We did win the other WNBA bet on Portland, but then we lost a $50 MLB bet.
So 1-1-1 for a loss of $25.
That brings us back down into the red for the year with a record of 330 wins, 357 losses,
10 pushes for a loss of $19.89.
Major League Baseball back in the full swing of things starting today.
So let's go ahead and place four bets on today's MLB action.
We're going to start with a $25 bet on the White Sox to upset my Blue Jays, plus $115.
Not only did the Blue Jays enter the All-Star break, ranking 29th in WRC Plus over the past
30 days, they're also 29th in WRC Plus when facing left-handed pitchers this season.
If you're a Jays fan like me, you know they cannot hit lefties this year.
That's bad news for them because now they're taking on a left-handed pitcher in Anthony
K of the White Sox.
So I think the White Sox, I hate to say it, but I think they're actually a pretty good
underdog bet today.
So I'll put $25 on them.
I also got $25 on Twins Cubs over 11, minus 102.
Don't be afraid of the high total in this one.
Neither pitcher is good.
Bailey Over against Colin Rea.
Both offenses also went into the All-Star break, ranking in the top five in WRC Plus
over the past 30 days.
And then finally, the wind is blowing straight out of Wrigley Field today.
So you got wind, you got bad pitchers, good offenses.
Let's go ahead and bet the Over in that one.
Nationals Athletics.
I'm going to take the Nationals on the Moneyline, minus 108.
The Nationals, and this is a spot to bet on quite a bit this season, they've dominated
left-handed pitchers throughout the year.
They're actually second amongst all teams in WRC Plus when facing left-handed pitchers.
Now they take on the Athletics who are starting a lefty in Gage Jump, which is a wild name.
And then not only are the A's starting a lefty, but their offense was the worst in baseball
over the past 30 days, heading into the second half of the season.
And then lastly, $25 on Under Seven, plus 110 between the Giants and the Mariners.
The Mariners, bad offensively over the past 30 days, 27th in WRC Plus.
But they're starting Bryce Miller tonight, who has a 2.18 ERA this season.
And then for the Giants, they're starting Landon, is it Roup?
Roup?
I think he's actually going to see some positive regression in the second half of the season,
3.36 XERA so far.
So I think he's going to put up a pretty solid performance tonight against the Mariners offense
that was struggling before the All-Star break.
So four MLB bets, $25 on each of them.
Best of luck to all of your bets.
Gamble or Blast.
We'll see you back here tomorrow.
