Elephant Mum Uses Trunk to Save Drowning Calf

An elephant mum rescued her baby with her trunk after it was swept away in raging waters.

Dave Pusey was on safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa, on May 21 when a herd of elephants embarked on a crossing of the Olifants River.
