Well, that sucked the Sixers summer league team just got absolutely throttled by the Rockets and uh, let's break it all down What's going on? It's not necessarily doom and bad news And I guess I can try and do that. I see that as Exactly what we need Or at least exactly what we need from him because I get that we still need a big man We need a center filing being in the paint with enthusiasm does not add seven inches to his height and unless he Really starts working out his quads. It's not going to just make it up with his raw jumping ability But you know what i'm saying like to see him step up on a game where the final score You could Infer from the final score the vibes were not immaculate on this one and to have filing still driving still working hard still going To me it's like okay This guy is rising to the occasion and separating himself from the rest of the group here The rest of the group I think also needs to include The conversation about janai broom and I sort of see two camps in the comment section fair amount of you are of the Concrete feet. He's not good enough. He's playing against Younger guys, he's a returner This is this isn't enough some of you are out there saying he didn't have a big enough rookie year Let him get an opportunity That this particular outing today was a notch in the tally against him necessarily having a crazy direct pathway to a bunch of playing time gancy and Nick nurse and the whole front office were there in attendance. So I guess at least the guy likes to take care of himself We know he's working on his body, etc, etc. But all in all vj Being in attendance. I thought it was great. And when they talked with him about how his off season has been going It was nothing about enthusiasm it was enthusiasm for hey if lebron comes great if he doesn't come great and I think of all the players right now with the way that tyrese maxey and jaylen brown and Embiid when he's on there like there's a lot of guys that are going to be handling the ball a lot of the time and some of you I think Are right in the comment section to be worried that there could be a vj edge comb sophomore slump coming just from his lack of Options and opportunities I could see where a guy could be like You're capable of reading between the lines and be like, yes, he is enthusiastic, but you can tell that he's Feeling a little crowded or something. I didn't get any of that from that He seems like a guy who is genuinely pumped to be whatever part of the team That he's going to be able to be this year. So that's what I got for you.
