In the Dnipropetrovsk region, fighters from the 425th Separate Assault Regiment "Skala" liberated six villages: Ternovo, Zaporizhzhia, Novogeorgievka, Vorone, Sichneve, and Maliyevka. According to the unit, the advance is 25 kilometers deep.
According to military data, the offensive inflicted critical losses on the Russian 120th Marine Division and units of the 68th Army Corps.
"Dozens of assault groups simultaneously began moving from the Velikomikhailovka area in easterly and southerly directions. The assault operations were conducted with constant air support. Enemy positions along our units' advance routes were destroyed around the clock. Efforts were systematically conducted to identify and eliminate enemy pilots," the statement noted. Skala reported that the Russian 656th Motorized Rifle Regiment's personnel assembly areas were destroyed in Temirovka. A vital logistical route for the enemy passes through this settlement. "The advance of Skala units allowed them to take control of the area and increase the range of their attack drones. As a result of the operation, more than 120 square kilometers of territory were liberated. The enemy suffered significant losses and was forced to retreat from the Dnipropetrovsk region," the regiment added. Russia's full-scale invasion grinds through its fifth year while Ukraine's counterlogistics campaign starves the force waging it: mid-range drones now reach targets across most of the occupied areas, the fuel blockade keeps tightening across the occupied south, and Russian troops depend on supply arteries Ukraine strikes daily. This comes amid the ongoing long-range strikes on the oil refineries deep inside Russia, which contributes to the worsening fuel crisis inside the country. But a mandatory evacuation has been announced for two more settlements in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk Oblast – Vasylkivka in the Synelnykove district and Vyshchetarasivka in the Nikopol district. Oleksandr Hanzha, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration confirmed this. "We have introduced mandatory evacuation for all residents of two more settlements in the oblast – Vasylkivka in the Synelnykove district and Vyshchetarasivka in the Nikopol district. The children were evacuated earlier. Now the adults must also leave these dangerous areas. More than 6,500 people remain there", he said. Hanzha said evacuees would initially be received at one of five transit centres in the region.
There, they will be able to receive financial, legal, psychological and medical assistance, as well as food and hygiene kits.
Hanzha added that, if necessary, authorities would help evacuees find longer-term accommodation.
According to Hanzha, housing for internally displaced people is available both in safer parts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and in other regions of Ukraine. On 17 June, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast began the mandatory evacuation of families with children from a further 23 settlements in the Synelnykove district. On 5 June, Hanzha said evacuations were continuing from parts of the Synelnykove and Nikopol districts.
