Welcome to the Alpha Omega Wine Club November 2025 Harvest Wine Tasting Experience featuring
Alpha Omega winemaker Melissa Paris, vintners Robin and Michelle Baggett, and everyone's favorite
Alpha Omega Ambassador Barrett Spiegel. This short video contains tasting notes of your two
November Wine Club selections along with a harvest menu that includes K.O.W. Cattle Company,
rooted in over 125 years of family ranching and one of America's premier producers of wagyu beef.
Harvest is concluded in our vineyards and the colors of fall grow more intense each day as
each vineyard becomes a brilliant tapestry of yellow, orange, and red. In our cellar the
captivating aromas of fermenting red wine fills the air as each barrel quietly begins its journey
into handcrafted excellence. At the winery we are busily preparing for our 20th anniversary in 2026
featuring a year-long lineup of special curated Wine Club events celebrating 20 years of close
friendships, priceless memories, and world-class wine. Your two November 2025 Wine Club selections
are an inspiring pair of bold mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Sauvignon Atlas
Peak 2022 and Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Vidor 2022. Let's start with Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon
Atlas Peak 2022. It's comprised of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Malbec. 50% of this wine was
fermented in French oak barriques and 50% in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 18 months
and 30% new French oak barriques. This wine has ripe, engaging aromas of cherry, red plum,
and blueberry accented by notes of roasted hazelnut, graphite, and toast complemented on the
palate by medium full-bodied flavors of cranberry, strawberry, and dark cherry enhanced by leather,
dusty earth, and firm tannins. Atlas Peak AVA is in the southeast corner of the Napa Valley
and the southern flank of the Vacca Mountains. Lying in the shadow of 2,700-foot Atlas Peak
Mountain, the AVA looks like one huge open amphitheater, the result of a huge landslide
millions of years ago that created a dramatic mix of volcanic rock-based soils. Cool
nighttime air from San Pablo Bay offsets the warm sunny days that produce full-bodied, powerful
Cabernet Sauvignon. Atlas Peak is historically known for the stagecoach trail to Sacramento
and Monticello that was frequently robbed by the infamous Black Bart a.k.a. Charles Earl
Bowles in the 1870s. Directly across the Napa Valley from Atlas Peak is Mount Veder, the home
of your second wine club selection Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veder 2022. It is comprised of
97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Malbec, and 1% Cabernet Franc. 75% of this wine was fermented in French
oak barriques and 25% in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 18 months in 30% new French oak
barriques. Featuring aromas of cassis and black cherry mixed with anise, dark earth, and nutmeg,
this medium full-bodied wine has rich mouth-coating flavors of blackberry and boysenberry
with notes of cocoa and cedar along with a classic structure for aging. Pour them into canter about
an hour before serving to enhance the unique character of both of these mountain-grown wines.
West of the town of Napa, Mount Veder is made up of two ridges in the southern Mayacamas
mountains with vineyards located as high as 2,500 feet. Known as Napa's Redwoods, over 85%
of Mount Veder AVA is covered by dense natural forest with only about a thousand acres planted
to vines. As the closest mountain appellation to San Pablo Bay, it benefits from cool marine
influences that produce long-lived Cabernet Sauvignon. Mount Veder is named after Dutch
Presbyterian pastor Pieter Vieter who was the reverend at the First Presbyterian Church in Napa
during the Civil War. Celebrating the end of harvest with the bounty of the season and Alpha
Omega wines presents an opportunity for us to give heartfelt thanks to Mother Nature for another
successful vintage and to look ahead to our year-long 20th anniversary celebration schedule
in 2026. Featured at this year's harvest celebration lunch with winemaker Melissa Paris,
Vintners Robin and Michelle Baggett and Alpha Omega ambassador Barrett Spiegel was KOW Cattle Company,
sixth generation ranchers from the Midwest and one of the original U.S. suppliers of renowned
highly sought-after Wagyu beef and a perfect pairing for your Alpha Omega wines at holiday
get-togethers with friends and family. Vintner Robin Baggett has some interesting details about
KOW Cattle Company. Hello everyone Robin Baggett here, Alpha Omega. When I first met John Urbana
I knew it was a marriage made in heaven for two reasons. One was he was in the cattle business
and I'm in the cattle business at least for 40 years actually more than 40 years so there we had
a love affair and second he discovered a way to sell his product like we have here at Alpha Omega
direct to consumer. Now his family are very unique and they have special beef and that is Wagyu beef
and they were one of the few that brought it maybe the first that brought it over from Japan in 1970
and as I understand it now you can't bring that cattle to America anymore the road is closed
and so they were able to develop some cross-bred Angus with this Wagyu. Now Wagyu
in Japanese means Japanese cattle so it's basically a cross breed between those two
and in particular why it's so good is because that Japanese cattle has figured out a way to get more
of the fat throughout the muscle than American beef it's just off the chart. His family's been
in the business for 125 years I think it's six generations so they know what they're doing.
With food on the table it's time for everyone to enjoy this harvest luncheon and joyfully reflect.
Okay Melissa then what will you remember most from this harvest? There's so many things to think
about I think the weather windows I think the personalities of my crush equipment right but
really I think just the the fun that my team had our AO team had interacting with everything
and the interactions that I had with our outside growers I think is the things that I'm going to
remember the most. Oh that's a blessing. Excellent. Melissa thank you for sharing the update on 2025

not challenges but wonderful things to think through every day and I'm so grateful to
