On July 7, Ukrainian military-affiliated sources reported that five electrical substations and one gas compressor station in Russian-occupied Crimea were struck in what they described as “courtesy visits” by drone units. According to the statement, between July 1 and July 7, drone operators from Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, SBS, hit 44 energy infrastructure facilities across Crimea and the occupied southern territories. The message mocked the impact on Russian forces, suggesting that the occupying military would be left without reliable electricity. The targets on July 7 included:Chkalovo electrical substation; West Crimea 330 kV electrical substation; Saky 110 kV electrical substation; Komysh-Burun 220 kV electrical substation; Mityayevo 110 kV electrical substation; Tasunovo gas compressor station. The statement also claimed that the cargo vessel MS Ivan Cheremisinov became the eighth ship targeted in the Sea of Azov since the start of a recent maritime drone campaign conducted by the Kairos unit of the 414th Separate Brigade, known as “Magyar’s Birds.” It further asserted that two additional tankers were struck later the same day, bringing the daily total to ten tankers and twelve vessels overall. Video footage shared in social media shows precision strikes on Russian targets.
