位於台北市大安區的榕錦時光生活園區，前身為日治時期臺北刑務所官舍群，見證了台灣從清領、日治到戰後的歷史變遷。這片土地曾是監獄職員宿舍區，戰後成為華光社區的一部分，承載著無數居民的生活記憶。

2013年，台北市政府文化局將官舍及周邊圍牆遺址登錄為歷史建築與古蹟，並保護區內珍貴老樹。經過修復活化後，園區於2022年重新開放，以嶄新面貌迎接民眾。

【Rongjin Time Park – Where Old Houses Find New Life】

Located in Taipei’s Da’an District, Rongjin Time Park was once the official residential compound of the Taipei Prison during the Japanese colonial era. The site has witnessed Taiwan’s transformation through different historical periods, from the Qing Dynasty and Japanese rule to the post-war era.

After serving as housing for prison staff and later becoming part of the Huaguang Community, the area faced redevelopment pressures before its historic value was recognized. In 2013, the former residences and prison wall remains were designated as protected heritage sites, preserving an important chapter of Taipei’s urban history.

Carefully restored and reopened in 2022, Rongjin Time Park has been transformed into a charming lifestyle destination. Traditional Japanese-style wooden houses now host cafés, restaurants, tea houses, and creative cultural spaces, while century-old banyan trees provide a peaceful atmosphere.
