每年春末夏初，宜蘭地區的柚子園，會出現一幅相當特別的景象：一棵棵柚子樹披上潔白細網，遠遠望去，彷彿穿上婚紗，成為田園間一道獨特風景。

這層白網在當地被稱為「果蠅網」或「防風罩」，不只是為柚樹增添美麗外衣，更是柚農推動友善、減少農藥使用栽培的重要方法。細網可以阻隔果實蠅等害蟲，也能減輕強風吹襲、降低落果風險，並減少果實受到陽光曝曬而產生的傷害。

在乾淨的土地與清澈水源孕育下，宜蘭文旦逐漸成熟。到了採收季節，當白紗一一掀開，圓潤飽滿的文旦終於露出真面目。這片「披上白紗的柚子園」，不只是農業智慧的展現，也呈現宜蘭農村與自然共存的獨特風貌。
Every year in late spring and summer, the pomelo orchards in northern Taiwan's Yilan County, are transformed into a remarkable sight. Row after row of pomelo trees are covered with fine white nets, making them look as if they have dressed in elegant wedding veils.

Known locally as fruit-fly nets or wind-protection covers, these delicate-looking nets serve an important purpose beyond their beautiful appearance. They help keep fruit flies and other pests away while reducing damage from strong winds and excessive sunlight. For local farmers, the covers are also part of a more environmentally friendly approach that aims to reduce reliance on pesticides.

Nurtured by Yilan’s clean farmland and abundant water, the pomelos gradually ripen beneath their protective white “veils.” When harvest season arrives, the nets are carefully removed, revealing the plump, fragrant fruit inside.

What looks like a romantic scene in the countryside is, in fact, a creative example of agricultural wisdom—where traditional farming, environmental awareness, and the beauty of nature come together.
