Two Russian ships suffered devastating blows; flames engulfed the entire superstructure

Special Operations Forces and Security Service of Ukraine released video footage of the destruction of two previously undisclosed Russian ships . One of them sustained critical damage and may be decommissioned, while the other was taken out of combat for an extended period due to serious damage.
As Defense Express writes, at first glance it might seem that the drones were attacking the same ship, but a detailed analysis of the footage shows that they were two different ones.
The first target was the Project 10410B border patrol ship Svetlyak. The drone struck a crucial part of the vessel—the antenna array on the mast. These systems ensure communications, navigation, and the operation of the ship's electronic equipment. After such a strike, the Svetlyak is unlikely to be able to perform combat missions without lengthy and expensive repairs, experts noted. The exact location of the ship's attack remains unknown. This is difficult to determine, as Russia operates ships of this type in various fleets and seas.
The situation was significantly worse for the Project 21630 small artillery ship Buyan. Video footage shows that by the time of the second strike, the ship was already engulfed in a massive fire. Thermal imaging footage shows that the fire had spread to almost the entire superstructure and likely also to the hull.
"The footage from the drone's thermal imaging camera shows that the flames engulfed the entire superstructure. Furthermore, judging by the heat signature on the ship's side, the fire likely spread deeper into the hull. While the extent of the damage after the impact is unknown, there are doubts as to whether the crew managed to quickly extinguish such a large-scale fire," analysts say.
It is possible that after such damage the ship could be completely written off, as repairs would require enormous funds and a lot of time.
Moreover, the Russian Federation already has a modernized version of this project – the 21631 Buyan-M, armed with Kalibr cruise missiles.
It's worth noting that the Russian Navy only has three Project 21630 Buyan-class ships: Astrakhan, Volgodonsk, and Makhachkala. All of them are part of the Caspian Flotilla, so the damaged vessel was one of these three.
It's also noteworthy that the Special Operations Forces recently released footage of a strike on a Buyan-class ship, but at the time, no official results were announced. It's possible this is the same ship that was the target of the joint Special Operations Forces and Security Service of Ukraine operation.
As reported, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned aerial systems recently destroyed five Russian ships in the temporarily occupied ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk, as well as in coastal waters. These vessels were transporting stolen Ukrainian grain, transporting military cargo, and so on.
Earlier, on June 4, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, near the village of Yurkino, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' SBS destroyed the Project 10410 border patrol ship Svetlyak. This ship's purpose is to monitor and protect ports and vessels, and to establish a tactical air defense and anti-submarine defense line. The ship's armament includes 16 Igla MANPADS, an AK-176 artillery mount, 14.5-mm machine gun mounts, and six-barreled anti-aircraft guns.
