Jamie’s big red Jeep is officially 10 years old this year, but we were trying to remember exactly when we brought it home! We think it was either 2018 or 2019. For all of our amazing vlog historians out there, let us know down in the comments below: when did we officially get the big red Jeep?
It is an absolutely packed day here at the house. Jamie is outside tackling his usual project, grinding down the rust on his red Jeep, applying some rust inhibitor, and getting it ready for a fresh coat of paint. Can you believe the big red Jeep turned 10 years old this year? Time seriously flies when you're making memories! While he was busy making a ton of noise outside, I spent some time checking on our local backyard birds and getting a few things sorted for an upcoming RV trip.
Things took a bit of an unexpected turn today when I heard a report about some alleged kittens dumped near the local high school. I grabbed a kennel, headed right over, and spent about an hour wandering around the area searching the woods. Sadly, or maybe happily if it was just a rumor, I didn't find or hear any kittens, but I'm keeping my eyes open just in case.
To wrap up a beautiful 62-degree day, we cooked up an amazing taco casserole over on Snow Dogs Cooking and then took the Siberian Huskies out for an evening walk. Tonight was extra special because Memphis got to try out her brand-new chariot! It's a gorgeous stroller with front suspension, and while she wanted to walk and sniff at first, she curled right up inside as soon as she got tired. It's the perfect way to make sure she stays included in our adventures.
