Easy Cheesy Taco Casserole | Easy One Pan Meal!

Today Jamie and I are making a family favorite that is absolutely perfect for busy weeknights: Cheesy Taco Casserole! It is basically like a cozy, baked burrito bowl packed with flavor, and it makes enough to feed a crowd or freeze for later.

Of course, we couldn't do it without our favorite kitchen helpers! Memphis, Eleanor, and Kira were on high alert in the kitchen, making sure we paid the mandatory cheese tax and staying close by for a very special surprise. Grab your 9x13 pan and let's get cooking!

Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 small onion
A few cloves of garlic (or Jarlic)
1/2 to full packet Taco seasoning
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp to 1 Tablespoon Oregano
1 tsp to 1 Tablespoon Basil
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 and 1/4 cups regular long-grain rice
3 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 can green chilies
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can pinto beans (drained)
2 Cups Colby Jack cheese (block or bag shredded)
