In the Garden of Peaches,
where the ancients grow,

Wukong ate the fruit

悟空吃下了那些讓靈魂煥發光彩的仙果

Three thousand, six thousand,
then nine thousand years,
三千年、六千年
還有那九千年的時光
He swallowed immortality
and conquered all his fears.
他吞下了長生不老，戰勝了所有恐懼

He stumbled to the banquet,
smelling nectar and wine,
他跌跌撞撞來到宴會
聞到了仙露與美酒
He drank every jar
of the liquid divine.
喝光了每一罈神聖的玉液瓊漿

With dragon liver and marrow,
he feasted alone,
獨自享用著龍肝鳳髓
A drunken king sitting
on a heavenly throne.
一個醉醺醺的王
坐在天庭的寶座上

To the Tushita Palace,
he wandered inside,
他晃進了兜率宮
Where the golden pills of
Lao Tzu were trying to hide.
老子的長生金丹正藏在其中

He ate them like candy,
every gourd, every grain,
他像吃糖果一樣吃掉它們
每一壺、每一粒
Until diamond-hard skin
flowed through every vein.
直到鑽石般堅硬的皮膚
流淌在每一寸血脈

The Emperor roared,
"Bring me his head!"
玉帝道：把他的首級給我取來！
As a hundred thousand soldiers
filled the sky with dread.
十萬天兵讓天空充滿了恐懼

The Mountain of Flowers
was covered in black,
花果山被漆黑的雲層籠罩
But Wukong was ready
for the heavenly attack.
但悟空已準備好迎接天庭的進攻

Erlang Shen arrived
with a third seeing eye,
二郎神帶著能看穿一切
的第三隻眼降臨
To hunt down the monkey
through the earth and the sky.
要在天地間追捕這隻靈猴

A sparrow, a hawk,
then a fish in the stream,
變麻雀、變獵鷹
又變成溪中的魚兒
They traded their shapes
like a magical dream.
他們像幻夢般變換著形狀

A temple was built
with a tail for a pole,
一座小廟蓋了起來
尾巴卻變成了旗桿
Erlang saw the trick
and he searched for his soul.
二郎神識破了詭計
搜尋著他的真身

With a spear and a hound,
and a ring from the height,
憑藉長槍、神犬
還有那高處落下的圓環
They captured the King
in the heat of the fight.
他們在激戰中擒獲了猴王

The axes they shattered,
the fire stayed cold,
斧頭被震碎
烈火也無法傷其分毫
The thunder was useless
against a spirit so bold.
雷霆對這大膽的靈魂也無濟於事

With peaches and wine
and the pills in his chest,
因為腹中有仙桃、美酒與金丹
Death could not p
ut the Great Sage to rest.
死亡也無法讓這位大聖安息
