He stood on the clouds
and he laughed at the sky
他立於雲端對著天空狂笑
I’ll take the throne,
and I’ll tell you why
我要奪取寶座且讓我告訴你理由
My changes are many,
my life has no end
我變化無窮且長生不老

The stars and the moon
are the only things I bend
連星辰月亮都任我差遣
But the Buddha just smiled
with a palm open wide
但佛祖只是攤開手掌帶著微笑
the throne of the heavens will belong to you
If you leap outside,
如果你能跳出來
那這天庭寶座就歸你了

He soared like a comet
to the cosmic shore
他像彗星般飛向宇宙之岸
He saw five pillars and
he wrote some more
他看見五根柱子並寫下了字跡
I was here, he carved, with a hand
我到此一遊他傲慢地刻下印記
Then he flew back to the holy land
隨後飛回那片神聖之地

But the words he had written
on the pillar so tall
但他寫在參天巨柱上的話語
Were on the Buddha’s finger, after all

He never escaped, he was always in reach

A lesson in pride that

the metal and fire

將大聖困在泥濘與困境之中
