Well, good morning Pawdience!
We stayed up a little bit late last night waiting for Gone to the Snow Dogs to roll 200,000 subscribers.
But we are up. We're getting ready for day two of the sled dog races.
What are you doing?
The tables aren't for dogs. She's like, no, I think this box is for me. So tables are for dogs.
Thanks for liking and subscribing to Snow Dogs Vlogs!
We're back at sled dog races again.
We're gonna walk down this long road. Not really long, but kind of long to get back here to go watch the start of the race.
Everybody's getting set and ready.
We're gonna go hike down the trail. We're gonna get some photos and videos and all that fun stuff.
So there's the famous Leo.
All right, so we got a camera here. We got a GoPro up there, which is actually staying pretty good.
I got this camera I'm taking pictures with and Jamie's doing the GoPro thing again. We're getting ready.
This time we're a little bit closer.
Yesterday we were back that way a little bit more, but this time we want to be up a little bit closer
so we can really see that excitement of the dogs when they first take off.
So I'm hoping that by being right here,
you'll really get to see that excitement because we were kind of around the next curve where we were down there.
So kind of hoping this works out. I might still set this camera up too. I just don't know where.
So we just watched the three dog and then we went and watched some of the three dog finish and now I'm back here
setting up cameras.
Jamie helped me get that one set up. I've got the other GoPro here and
Chris and Trisha from Sushi and Runt are on their way here.
So he's gonna go back to the parking lot and meet up with them and hopefully...
Excuse me. They'll get back here before the race starts. It's the plan anyway.
So, yeah, we're just waiting the next 15 minutes for the dogs to come start. I cannot believe how nice...
I don't even have gloves on. It's so nice out here.
I mean granted you can hear dogs barking and guns going off because the range is supposed to be closed
but there's people way over there still shooting, but just I hear birds, people walking.
All right, you guys take your places.
We're back for the beginning of the seven dog. I think it got colder.
It might have got a little too weird. I think the Sun is less out.
Get the cameras in their spots.
Wow
You
All right, we're making the walk back. I don't know where we're going. I think we're going to the finish.
But that is where we're headed.
And my fingers are cold. So here is...
So here's the map.
The corresponding colors for how far a three dog team runs 4.1 miles, a junior team runs 1.7,
five dog runs six, seven dog runs four and then the Skidjoers run 1.7. And that is the map.
How far did they go?
There you go. You can almost see the whole thing. Start here, finish here.
Look, watch sled dog event.
That's where we were down that road.
Say oh my goodness, mama. I'm so glad you're home.
I'm not gonna be home for that long because we gotta make treats.
Do you guys wanna make treats for Valentine's Day that's coming up? Huh? Do you wanna make some treats?
Do you wanna make some treats Shelby? You wanna make some treats Memphis?
Okay, well I have to go get the ingredients so we can make some treats.
So you girls be good, hang out with your daddy. I'm gonna go to the store. Sound like a plan? Sound like a plan?
Okay, I'll be back.
I'm so surprised that your lips aren't pink and your lips aren't pink.
I have a little bit of pink on my hands.
Little bit. Your lips aren't pink. Your lips aren't pink.
When working with beets in a recipe, it tends to turn everything pink.
But the dogs had like pink on their lips from trying it.
Memphis stole a little bit of beets in the beginning.
So she looked like she had lipstick on. Thankfully doesn't look like it dyed your fur any.
But yeah treats are in the oven and now I
think I'm gonna go through some of the sled dog footage that we took in the past two days because we got a lot of
footage.
Dog cookies are done. So you guys will have to check the video out over on Gone to the Snow Dogs.
I'll try to remember to put a link
up in the cards and I got
garlic bread in the oven and we're gonna have leftover spaghetti for dinner. Not you. Your dad and I are gonna have it. Not you. Sorry.
What's up Memphis?
She's like you guys was gone all day.
And I would like some love now. She's like all balled up. Don't don't let me fall. Don't let me fall daddy.
Don't let me fall. Look at that face.
You're such a big baby.
You want up here?
Oh look at you.
I'm so happy. You look like a teddy bear. Like a ferret.
So keep petting me. Just keep petting me. Just don't ever stop touching me ever.
You're so stinking cute.
She's like I know. I'm adorable.
She's just collapsing as you move. There. Is that better?
She's like, oh, oh, there we go. So when I try to edit video of sled dog footage, the dogs
react.
Do you hear the dogs? Do you hear those dogs?
Editing the video and uh, yeah, they can hear all the dogs.
Shelby,
your tongue is sticking out. You guys see that?
Shelby, your tongue's sticking out. Did you even know it's sticking out if I touch it?
It's still, it's still sticking out.
It's still sticking out.
It's still sticking out. She's like no mom. What are you doing you weirdo?
What are you doing?
Can I see where it was split when you was at? Nope. Nope. She's like no, it's still sticking out.
Ah, there you go. You fixed it. Hey, you took Memphis's bed.
She's resorted to using that toy as a pillow.
How rude Shelby.
Hey fluffy. Oh, it's a big yawn.
You're like I'm awake. Can I go outside now? Do you wanna go outside?
Do you wanna go outside?
Wanna go outside? Let's go outside!
Yay!
Good job Oakley.
Apparently she knows the noise of the camera too well.
She was just totally dreaming, full on running.
As soon as I turned the camera on, I didn't even hit record. She stopped.
What's even funnier is this one was doing it too.
And she stopped too.
All right.
Oh, I'm tripping over things.
We're going to bed.
It was a long day. I just got a bunch of work done though. So that was good.
Are you sleepy?
You're in here and you're out, aren't you? You're like I'm out. Oh, hi. Wanna go outside before you go to bed?
No? Okay. Say good night to the Pawdience.
Oh, good night Pawdience.
