Oktoberfest is the best and biggest beer festival in the world! I wasn't in Munich but here in Miami we have an incredible Oktoberfest at Fritz and Franz Bierhaus in Coral Gables.
This was the 23rd annual Fritz and Franz Oktoberfest. It runs for 10 days, with music, food and of course beer! Also my friends Nelly and Mike from Making It Happen Vlog joined me for the event.
Have you been to Oktoberfest? What was your experience?
About Me: My name is David Hoffmann and for the last decade I have been traveling around the world in search of unique culture, food and history! Since starting Davidsbeenhere in 2008, I have traveled to 71 countries and over 1,000 destinations, which I welcome you to check out on my YouTube Channel, blog and social medias.
I focus a great deal on food and historic sites, as you probably have seen! I love to experience the different flavors that each destination has to offer, whether it’s casual Street food or gourmet restaurant dining. I’m also passionate about learning the local history and culture.
Hi guys, David Hoffman here from David's Bin here.
Today I'm headed to Oktoberfest at Fritz & Franz Beer House here in Coral Gables.
This is their 23rd annual Oktoberfest.
I'm super excited.
I'm going to meet with my friends Mike and Nelly from Making It Happen Vlog.
We're going to drink some beers.
We're going to have a good time.
Perfect.
Thanks, man.
Take care.
Oktoberfest.
Making it happen.
Hey, it's been a while.
It's been a while.
Yeah.
But it's good to be back.
Yeah.
One, two, three.
Miami Oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest.
I got this present from our friend Tina.
Made it in Munich.
So I'm going with I think the dark.
Dark beer.
I'm all about that dark.
Barsteiner Oktoberfest.
Nelly, it's been a while.
We haven't really vlogged together.
This is like the first real vlog.
I know.
Let's cheers.
It's not good.
It's sweet.
It's spicy.
It's really good.
Cheers.
Cheers, guys.
Cheers.
Really early right now.
This is Weizenbier.
Wheat beer.
Sorry?
Prost.
I know.
I know your language.
This is the 23rd year we're doing this event.
It's a fantastic event.
It's a fun event and it lasts until this Sunday.
It started on October 5th and goes on for 11 days.
And we do expect a record crowd this year for the Oktoberfest.
Beer is famous with us already.
We are supported by Warnsteiner Brewery, a German beer.
A fantastic business.
They have a beautiful Dunkelhorn, of course.
They have the Oktoberfest brew, which is a sensation this year.
As food goes, we have roasted pork shanks, roasted chicken.
We call it the Wiesenhändler.
We have sausage semplar.
But you almost cannot miss the giant beer pretzel.
The best day to come here is Friday and Saturday night, because that's when the most people
show up.
An event like this needs a lot of people and you need to be here to have fun, to sing along
and show the atmosphere.
It needs to be created with a lot of people.
So Friday and Saturday night are always the best.
If you want to have a relaxing afternoon, music will still be played, but it's more
calm and it's more family oriented.
We have pretzel and a Nuremberg.
Oh my god, this is my favorite.
Pretzel.
It's pasta with cheese.
It's like mac and cheese.
The Austrian way.
In comparison to the Filipino Lechon, this is the Austrian pork, the Stelze, the traditional
Stelze.
This is the, I don't know, Austrian pork?
Stelze.
I love you.
Oh my god.
Wow.
It looks incredible.
This is an incredible piece.
I'm so hungry.
That is amazing.
Yeah.
That's pretty good.
Oh yeah.
Oh, it's like stuck.
Cabbage.
I could eat this all day.
What is it about the pretzel?
It's brussel sprouts.
And cheese.
Cheese is missing.
Cheese.
What do you think?
So good.
Tonight is Thursday night.
It's not so popping.
Usually, it's crazy.
I mean, Saturday and Friday nights are the same.
I don't know why, but you guys seem to like it when I drink alcohol.
I'll see you in two days.
That was Oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest in Miami.
What's up, dude?
How you doing?
Yes.
So that's it.
We're done with Oktoberfest here at Fritz & Franz Beer House.
The best day to come here is Friday and Saturday.
But yeah, it's some good beer.
